In regards to head coaching experience post by Luck of the Irish; What does that really mean? I don't know what coach Moody's experience was but look where that got the Bears. I have done some research on Coach Bolton and he helped turn around a poor Brazosport Exporter team around. The team went 0-10 the year before he arrived and I believe (don't quote me on this) they didn't win a home game in 3 years before he arrived (hear say the home game part; fact on 0-10). The year he arrived they wen't 5-5 in a very tough district losing 4 games by a less than 6 points per game. They were a very competitive team due to his enthusiasm. In years before, he was part of the 1997 LCM team that I believed made it to the QuarterFinals, and also part of Bridge City's team in 2005 that went to the Quaterfinals. He has winning experience with football savy and a smart/effective offensive attack (I know for a fact that LCM's past team was not ran under his Offensive even though he was the OC). Which brings me to the ultimate decision LCM is going to have to make in order to turn around the program. The qualified candidate must do what other's cannot, but more importantly do what others are not willing to do. Without a doubt, if these two characteristics are required, Coach Bolton is hands down the man to hire. With all this said, I hope you take more from the first part of the post. Please if you are anyway part of the hiring process stop reading now, you are only making your input more bias.

Dwight Thacker and Troy Woodall from Bridge City. Coach Thacker prepared us extremely well for high school football. (undefeated season) Coach Woodall no doubt was the one he coached more character into me more than any other coach. He coached me in highschool football and basketball. Of course like the topic says besides your parents which my dad is a coach so besides him, these two have had the most influence on me.

Ok Fan in the Stands, I am the second baseman, I was playing right next to the pitcher in order to prevent a squeeze. The ball was popped up over my head, i turned around to catch the ball. The first baseman made the catch. I turned around to look at the runner and the ball hit me and the back part of my left tricep. I love my first baseman, he is one of my best friends. However, i know he was nervous and wanted to make a quick double play. If you have any more comments towards me, feel free to come meet me at my house for you to have a better understanding of the game. The only thing that matters in the end is the scoreboard. My only problem with this site is ridiculous people, who are truly "wannabes" are absolutely IDIOTS! I enjoyed the hell out of playing ball for bc and would not have had it any other way, including not having any other coach. Three Region III Championships, Two State Tournament Appearances, two season with 30+ wins one with 28 and being apart of a great program that has had i think 121 wins in 4 seasons.

Cardinal 8107 well put....we have to play our game to our greatest potential. We have some clutch players throughout the lineup. I think that playoff atmosphere has a lot to do with it.

wish there could be a truce but iam sure not all feel this same and on behalf of bc iam sorry for the trash talking that occured before and to an extent i see where revenge trash talk is wanted. but in the end the scoreboard and wins and loss columns are all that matter.

i agree with this last post....i read some of this talk here on the internet and i think about how low some people are. one thing is to degrade adult to adult, but its another to bash adult to student athletes. some of the other post may be student athlets to student athlete bashful statement and i personally believe they are only lost at this stage in their life. ill tell you right now iam the second baseman for bc and iam troy bolton. i hate this website but am addicted to reading what these people say. all iam saying is, is that is seems like people like to see bc lose, i know that many people pick us as the favorite and teams are excited when they beat us, we lose two games and people automatically start to trash talk and talk like we didnt deserve our reputation. all iam concerned about is winning and that is all since the season has started. i guess what iam really trying to say is that some people are on here trash talking or talking about cardinal12/redhead or saying flying to the south, you are low individuals who are clueless. To all the bc players, perseverance is the hard work you do after already doing the hard work. knowing this we have to go back to basics and work hard at that, good things will come. i dont want people to think that iam saying if you post on here you are low, some on here do in fact show sportsmanship and you should be commended for that.

Bolton is the man for the job. One he is knows the kids and they respond to him well. Plus, he is a great motivator and gets full potential out of each individual. He would be a great head football coach plus would be great for the program as a whole. His attitude towards objectives to be done perfect is exactly what the AD job should require. His knowledge of the game of football would help out next year's team very well.

I have been given the topic for a persuasion paper at my high school. My topic is pick a side for or against random drug testing in extra curricular activities. First i am a senior, and have been involved in 5 different sports and many other organzations at my school. Immediately i felt very strongly for the decision to have random drug testing and still do. Today while researching the topic to of some people that are against the test, I found very surprising facts. First, I did not realize the amount of people on the internet against the test. Most people say it is a violation of privacy, and goes against the 4th amendment of unreasonable search and seizures. However, I believe becasue the these activities are by choice, that people lose certain freedoms in order to be involved in such prestigous activities or organizations. One other reason that I am for the test, is that it makes these particular students buckle down and follow rules. I have many other reasons for the test, but I dont want to write a long boring essay as I am probably already getting out of control. The only reasonable fact against that I have come across against the test, is that the test may be inaccurate; destroying a students career for innoncent actions. My request is this, I would love to have everyones opinion on this issue. It would be beneficial to my paper and may surprise some people in this area. Finally, if I could have an adminstrator post this topic on all boards or something, that way all people could read and take this poll.

oh ok wos92 i forgot about that play, however i believe he was making a play on the ball, that is a refs decision. it could have gone either way

WO-S is no doubt the best team we faced all year and is one of the best if not the best team in this entire area. They have so many weapons that they can use, i cant see why they dont atleast get to the semi-finals and if they doubt it will be because of a serious upset. now the talk about bc being usual sore losers i have to talk about that. first of bc finished with a winning season of 6-4 where our season very well could have went 1-9 or 0-10 becuase of all the close encounters we had, but prevailed with victory. Now as for the push off from earl, i can understand the wos guys taking up for their team, i mean who would not, but the eye in the sky does not lie, and the bc defender was not "all of over him" he was clearing running with number 12, and got shoved down by his shoulder pads, i have seen the film and i know. however that play was not a deciding factor. i believe bc came out with intensity and MAYBE even shocked a couple of the wos people with two turnovers. We may have gained some respect and then WO-S decided to step it up to their amazing level of play. Now for the fake punt, who knows if Hooks did call that fake punt, maybe number 3, was just playing the game of football and decided to call his own number to get the first, because it was Senior Night for them, and they wanted to remember that game forever. Was it classy, thats your own opinion, i believe after the game each team was classy as all the bc kids wished them luck on the playoffs, and wos said they would represent our district well. Even the coaches were classy and i had one wos coach congratulate me on a well played season. WO-S i wish the best of luck to you and hope ya'll win state, and i had a great and fun season this year with the cardinals. Just one more thing, did that game seem extremely long to anyone?

yea inside card thats right we are getting some people back and our team is pulling together after that jasper win, (still dont know who u are but u know me) so yea my aches if thats what u want to call it (hip pointer) yea it bothers me but i just play with it, and as far as numbers go i dont know what you mean, yea i definetly look to improve against of but first of all the team won so my stats dont even matter but just for the record 1-int 6-43yards and did not step on the sidelines once even on special teams, i think those numbers said enough. plus the (2-1) is what really counts. on this forum we seem to be the underdogs, but still our team has the mentality that they are which is great, we cannot visualize losing to orangefield iam not saying its not possible iam just saying the team and myself cannot visualize a loss to orangefield. they are a great team with a great new offensive coordinator whom i wish we still had. BC pulls off the bragging rights for another year

24-21 bc, and i have to admit i will predict bc with maybe a fourth quarter comeback since the last 2 district wins have been.

kville balla, you have to be the most arrogant person on earth or atleast in kirbyville, all your doing is giving bc some fire against yall. when we play yall it just might be a playoff deciding factor for us, actually that is everygame from here on out for bc but you catch my drift. if we setup a good gameplan against yall and the kids execute them well and do the jobs, then it will be closer than you predict. p.s. inside card you like that pep rally on friday
