1.
Alyssa Hatton from Warren signs with A & M Commerce November 11,2009.
I heard she was signing months ago, but no one would/could confirm it! Congrats 5! You're a beast and I know you'll succeed with your future college team!  :) Just remember, you're always a Lady Warrior at heart!
2. Still no word on all district votes for 23 AA?
3. I know the girls couldn't care less because theird minds are on playoffs, but I'm kind of anxious to know who got voted what in both the Woodville district and the Warren/Hardin district. When will we know MVPs and First Team All-District...blah, blah, blah...that good stuff??  :)
4. Thanks Eagles! I vote for Warren in 3 as well. I think the girls are ready to play and head off to meet up with Centerville. That should be a good match.
5. Good grief! Everyone chill out! Warren will happily take co-district. Yes, they might have wanted an outright district title, but they aren't going to make up lies to get it! Hardin wanted the EASIER bracket, and they got it. They made fools of themselves Friday night on the court. I have never seen such unsportsman like conduct in my life in this area. Hope everyone from Hardin is really proud of their girls for that one. Especially since everyone is almost certain that Hardin didn't want to play that game in the first place. Warren kicked some ACE though. Awesome defense and AMAZING offense! The best team won. We're proud of you Lady Warriors! Keep on fightin!
6.
Acutually, the first phone call that Warren received involved asking for a flip.  The Warren coach declined the flip and said "we want to play".  There was then a 2'nd phone call in which information was given about a Hardin player being injured and due to this, they declined to play and chose to take 2'nd seed.  The following day a 3'rd phone call was received asking that Warren go ahead and agree to play.....which is what Warren wanted in the first place. Apparently information was relayed incorrectly to Hardin fans, parents, etc., and other area coaches. These are 2 very strong teams who have the ability to make it in the playoffs, but you should really talk to the Hardin coaches and see if your information is correct before you post on here, because you are hearing something totally different than what is true! I know that all Warren wants to do is PLAY and WIN!!!!!  Good luck tonight Lady Warriors!!! ;)
I agree. I think the Hardin fans/parents/maybe even the girls themselves were misinformed by the coaches. From what I understand, Hardin had decided to forfeit supposedly due to a girl being injured, but they were also trying to schedule a warm-up game?? That doesn't make sense.  If they were going to play a warm-up then why not just play Warren? BECAUSE they don't want to be first seed maybe?? I hope Hardin is ready because Warren is known for taking revenge on opponents. I would like to know what is being said between those girls right now. I know the Lady Warriors will play their best tonight, and they will be playing for first seed in playoffs! I think Warren wants a rematch against Centerville. The ain't scared! GO GET 'EM LADY WARRIORS!  ;D
7. I won't express my opinion. You guys do the talking.  :-X
8. I hope Warren wins. If Hardin wants second seed that badly, they deserve it. GO LADY WARRIORS!!  ;D
9. Nobody plays perfect volleyball, not even the college elite. However, it is the team that is disciplined enough to make the least amount of mistakes and, from what I've seen of Warren and Woodville, if Centerville played them right now then Centerville wins in 3 against both teams. There is a reason Centerville is, what, 33-0 and ranked in the top 3. White Oak is up there with them. Good point. However, Warren took Centerville to four games last year in playoffs after their setter quit unexpectedly, so you may be wrong about them taking Warren in 3. Warren will have to stop making so many service errors, true, but I think these girls are going to surprise some people. Also, Warren has a scholarship athlete running the floor (#5). That girl doesn't quit and she keeps the teams momentum up. It's hard to shut someone down who can jump that high. With her and the other seniors leading I think they will definitely compete with anyone they play. Not saying they can't be beat, but they can't be beat easily. Good luck in Kountze tonight Lady Warriors!
10. I still have plenty of faith in these Warren girls to push past them. By the way...is it true that Hatton is signing in November? Anybody know??
11. I think Warren has the skills to make it past Centerville to get to regionals and beyond. They are some beasts at the net, and their defense is pretty solid. Not to mention, they have more height than most 2A and even 3A teams in Hatton, Brent, and their lefty. These girls want it so bad they can taste it, and as long as they keep the heart and determiniaton, what's stopping them? They're a force to be reckoned with...that's all I'm saying. Good Luck Lady Warriors!
