  1. Hey, I'm just basing my opinion on what I saw when they were in HS. Was Kenna Young not also a 2 time ALL-STATE roll-player.
  2. Keena Young was a better player in HS than Perkins was. I also think that the Harris kid was better than Stephen Jackson at Lincoln in the mid 90's. There are some of these folks I never saw play, But McElroy at Lincoln was the best player I have ever seen play in HS around here.
  3. My license shows my hunter education on it. I was told by a game warden I did not need to carry it with me. My brother's does not show his. It must depend on where you buy your license and whether the person working the computer knows what they are doing.
  4. I agree we got off topic. If this Ward kid is their best player than that is what the thread was about. I have seen Lumberton a couple times in the last few years and they have not had anyone who could take over a game. They played as a team and usually were in the game. Same with PN-G. They never seem to have great players (Although Duriso? several years ago was very good) and yet they stay with most teams they play. This is a credit to the kids and their coaches.
  5. whsalum, I think the point trying to be made is that Lumberton has no one who is really a top notch player. But that is the beauty of teams like yours, they are teams and must work hard and play together as a team to be even moderately successful. A 3rd place finish for Lumberton = state appearance for schools that really do have talent. I'm not trying to bash you guys but that is the cold hard reality of it.
  6. WB looked fairly decent tonight even without their FB players beating PN-G and Lumberton. The JV also beat both Lum & PN-G's varsity teams. Varsity beat Lum bad, like 65-4.
  7. hey, if you work 7 days a week for roughly 12-18 hrs a day, you to can make the big bucks.
