  1. I have to laugh everytime I read something about PNG looking past an opponent.  Coach Faircloth hasn't let that happen yet this season and I can't see it happening this week.  The Indians have played one game at a time, taking care of business each week.  They haven't taken any team lightly and that's why they are where they are.  Keep up the good work, Indians!!
  2. I think the coaches will have both PNG and Central mentally and physically prepared for the playoffs.  I say go get 'em boys.  Let's show them what's coming out of 20-4A.
  3. I don't really think you have to worry about Coach Faircloth not keeping the boys focused on Ozen.... I can hear him now, we aren't playing Central this week, we're playing Ozen.
  4. Babyshoe, PNG Proud is planning to go to Lumberton, I talked to him earlier tonight.
  5. They both have to agree to play home and home and then they flip. That doesn't happen in the playoffs very often. The games are usually played at a neutral site. But it's going to have to be big enough to hold everyone!!
  6. Thank you, Bigdog, that's exactly what I was trying to do.
  7. I don't think the fact that the PNG/BH game in the regular season was played at PNG would have anything at all to do with where a playoff game would be played. The coaches have to agree on a site.
  8. Soulja this thread is supposed to be about PNG and Lumberton predictions...personally I DON'T care about the Central game until that week. We have two other games we need to worry about before we play Central, am I worried about them? I worry about every game. Do I have faith in my Indians? You bet I do. I've had season tickets for almost 40 yrs and I've gone when we won and when we didn't. So the only game I care about this week, is PNG and Lumberton.
  9. WHO CARES??? We are playing Lumberton this week, we have to beat them first.
  10. If Coach Matthews wanted our team to pray with his, the time to ask was before the game, not after. The opposing coaches don't spend enough time together at midfield for that question to be asked and answered anyway. They normally shake hands and go on their way. The Indians head to the sidelines immediately. Because you were near some PNG fans and they were shocked doesn't speak to the majority. When the team headed to the sidelines, no one on PNG's side should have been shocked, they've done it every game.
  11. I did take it that way...sorry if it wasn't intended that way. Thanks for the good luck wishes.
  12. I never said that weather didn't make a difference you are the one that made a reference to the weather. Everyone in this district has played in the same weather week after week. You brought up the weather.
  13. Please dont' use the weather as an excuse. Everyone else has played under the same conditions.
  14. Not saying it will happen, cause that's just crazy anything can happen when you're dealing with kids, but that being said, PNG is getting BETTER everyweek. It's a definite possibility.
  15. Only took 2 pages for the comment to be made again that PNG hasn't played anyone. Give it a rest...7-0, we had to play someone.
  16. I really don't think you have to worry about the PNG coaches overlooking anything. They haven't made that mistake this year with anyone they've played. In fact they have found exactly what they needed in each team to make our team stronger and win. Very disciplined coaching staff and extremely smart.
  17. I remember when my kids were in school. They thought I was so unreasonable because as Seniors in high school, they still had a 12:00 curfew. And they made it. I made a believer out of my son at about 16 yrs old. I told him to be home at 11:00, and that meant in the house. Not in the driveway. He came strolling late a couple of times. Well, the 3rd time I grounded him for 2 weeks, he was 2 minutes late, and didn't let him off for good behavior. I never and I mean never had a curfew problem again. If he was at his girlfriends house his sr year and they were watching a movie and it wouldn't be over by his curfew, he'd call and ask permission to stay and finish the movie. I knew where my kids were and what they were doing. But then that's the way I was raised. Society is so different these days, sad thing is, alot of parents just don't flippin' care.
  18. 4 wins, huh? In district so far and 3 in preseason...3+4=7. Hmmm, a bit off on the #'s. Go Indians, Scalp 'em. All in good fun Rusted. Best of luck to Vidor on the rest of the season.
  19. The same kids playing for PNG this year, played last year. It is instilled in their minds that they CAN win....Go Indians...SCALP 'EM.
  20. I will miss this one too, opening weekend of deer season and I'll be in the hill country. But thank God for twitter updates. It will be a hard fought game, and good luck to both, but GO INDIANS, SCALP 'EM!!!
