Ya'll played a good game , I was pulln for ya from the next field over last week! RED is getn stronger and improving quickly !!! Im pickn a win for red this week !!!

IT is instructional ,,, don't hate on an offensive set that worked well for that team !!! If they have executed it well ,, it will work !!! The instruction comes in teaching that defense to pick up on it and stop it !!! Any one can talk strategy and which OF / DF is best or works best ,, but come game day , it's all about the execution and heart on the feild!!!

Hey TD, i was told a fight broke out between the two teams. Then a course the parents got involve and then it turn out to be a brawl. They're trying to keep it under the radar at this time. I was there ,,,, just 2 kids fighting ,,, coaches and a few parents did run out there at first ,, some shouting , but that was over in like 30 seconds ,,,, the kids were ejected !!!

LOL by sayn png is haven alot of trouble with the flu ,, are you trying to bait up some over confidence ?? LOL Well , as of today all LUM (white) players are healthy !!!! Thats honest with no BS ,, all players are healthy so far and working hard !! I send all players GET WELL wishes !!!! SCALPEM ,,,,, I completly agree , I was more refering to the regular season !!! I was really showing respect , by sayn LUM (white) is not over confident and is takng PNG (purple) seriously !!! IMO it will be (white's) toughest test in (regular season) play! I was simply sayn that LUM (white) is of the same caliber of (WOS) (I am not a coach) make that clear !!! IMO it's a NOV . rematch WOS vs LUM (white)

This is gona be a great game ,,, it's gona come down to defense , defense defense!!!! I know LUM (white) is taking this game seriously !!! By all the video cameras in the hands of the guys in purple @ last weeks game with PNG (grey) I would say PNG (PURPLE) is doing the same !! LOL I also think this is gona be the game of the week ,,, PURPLE did play a close game with WOS ,,,,, LUM (white) is gona be on the same level as WOS !!!!

daddy23 ,, Im still pretty knew to this board ,, I wanted to know why it is that it seem that the juniors get more of the focus here !! LOL where are the power rankings for PEE WEE and seniors ??? Im guessing there are just more coaches ect from junior teams on here yet i had to ask !!!

just dont' set your canopy up in front of spectators to where they can't see the game. Yes of course , i guess i thought that went without saying!!! not necessarily my friend. I will not say which team it was but they put their canopy's right in front of the stadium seats and people who sat low could not see the field without either going up in the stands or running back and forth in the stands to see past the tent. I tripped a few times because I chose to stay low and was going back and forth to see the field. I even specifically ASKED that they not put the tent up in front of the stands because it would obstruct the view and a few of the gentlemen looked at me and kept putting the tent up. The kids needed it so all is okay. We won!! Well our team put up one ,, for the plyers but set it as low as possible !!! Hey we all know that ya gona run into atleast one rude one in every crowd ,, LOL

Im sure glad to have heard ,, ( finally ) from the coaches themselves !!! Sounds like stand up great bunch of guys on both sides !!! I second that post about how it was a very close game anyway !!! Sounds like it was a battle ,, thats what we all want to see ,, 2 evenly matched teams battle it out with skill and heart !!! I for one was really wanting to see the outcome of that game !!! GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS!!!

PNG Proud: I'm using your post only because it is short and easier to quote then others - not singleing you out in anyway. I have something to say about this: it doesn't matter if a team loses most of the games that they play. The kids who suit up each game - play their hardest - ALL deserve to play in a game. Their parents paid the money. the kids pay the price of sweating and bruises. If the child is not good at his position - guess what? It doesn't matter because when push comes to shove -- it is just a game! It is up to the coaches to keep track of the mandatory play rule. it is my opinion that rule was put into effect to protect those kids who are not as good as the others. I have not seen anyone say this but just in case it is thought of being said: Yes, you do have enough coaches on the sidelines at each game to be able to keep track of it. All teams want to win; but that win should not be at the expense of a child's self esteem and when he is not allowed to play, it affects them. Now, I'm off my soap box for now. tiime to get ready to go to work. WELL , said queenb,,,, some kids get over looked , they just need more work , glad this rule is there ,, !!! After all every kid wants to be play and be a winner !! Thats what the coaches and parents should be doing teaching every kid they can BE A WINNER TOO!!!

TD & WOS98------------------- It was my comment that had the words ((( running up the score ))) Please let me clear that up ,,,,,,,, I was not trying to make any kind of direct accusation that ANY COACH ON ANY WOS,, team intentionally SET OUT TO demoralise or embarrass ANY other team !!!! My only point was that YES WOS has great coaching and some great talent ,,, we say that every week,,,,, IMO that score (((( 57/0 ))) reflects sure a great WOS team ,, but more of a poor MATCH UP of teams !!! My appologies if my comment was taken has somehow disrepectfull of WOS team or coaches!!! I can assure you all I have every respect for WOS teams ,,,

Does'nt the board have to review that MPR violation before they make a decision ???? It's not official yet on that yet is it?? GREAT JOB TO ALL TEAMS AND COACHES !!!! EXCITING SEAON SO FAR !!!!

Just a question here, but how do you make a team "ease up" or better yet, how do you define that? Do you kneel the ball on every offensive play? Do you tell your RB's or QB that, if they see open field, fall down? Being someone who has coached a little, I'm just wondering because there are times that you sub out kids who have never even carried the ball in a game and they even score. Sometimes, it can't be helped. I think it's a bit ridiculous to automatically throw out the "running up the score" card. Sometimes, you just have so much more talent or speed that you either score or risk further embarassment for your opponent by kneeling the ball on first, second or third downs. This happens a lot in the youth leagues where that can be a huge difference in a teams abilities. I'm not trying to stir the pot either, and I also don't have a child in this league, but I do read these pages all of the time and I think some folks are way to quick to throw out that a team "ran up the score". You are right on the points you make ,, it was'nt per sayn they did , BUT it does happen!!
