BC 42 Buna 7 Offense gets motoring after brutal week of practice and the defense is already playing above and beyond so this put Cards back on the winning track. LC-M had a decent team but we take advantage of dropped passes and mental mistakes this is a different story but this is a part of the game. Playing 4A schools helps prep for district and we will be ready when it rolls around. Buna always plays tough but this week this will be a blowout.

Backer please join in the community fan fare and do not worry about how many balls your boy catches. I have read more than enough crap with your name attached to it pertaining to our QB who just happens to be the leader of a dynamic team. If you wanted him to be the only one to catch balls go in the front yard put on some flags and you toss it to him and say "run son run". Your son is a good kid with the ability to do some good things this year but it is beginning to smell everytime I read your thread. Let the kids play and flourish by nature and nurture the accomplishments as a team. They are just kids and remember you are an adult! Feel free to attack me because I am not his family, just someone who cares alot about how our community looks when people read your mess.

So we're 2 games into the season with Silsbee blowing out a Houston Davis team with their starters pulled to start the 2nd half and then losing to a solid Diboll team. BC has played 2 winless squads....you're reaching. Anyone doubting Silsbee not being in top three is just plain silly but no need in banging BC for their progress. These kids have been through a pretty big ordeal here of late and are searching for a little respect. There will be some casualties along the way and hopefully we will be fortunate enough to represent our district no matter what the order is. Be careful who you peck on it just might draw blood. GO BIG RED! BC beating Silsbee would not be an upset it would just be another win. WOS is the King for now and that would be an upset. To earn respect you must give respect. You come on here and put down Orangefield, yet when someone says something negative about BC you get upset and say be careful who you peck on. You might want to take your on advice!! Not asking or begging for anything just being realistic about the district race. I believe we at BC earn our respect year in and year out and do it with class no matter what the sport. Orangefield is just not a factor this year. Like it or not, it is what it is. I am not bumping my gums because I know the kids and their talent. Most of them have been to my house and are very good friends of the family so be easy cowboy and moderate elsewhere.

LCM has a good game against a great team and all of a sudden BC does not have a chance. This will be a close game and I am a Bear Grad not just a crap talker on a website. One thing about BC is they are hungry and so tired of the negative rhetoric of the Monday morning QB. This is a very physical group and you will know Saturday morning you played a game the night before. These kids have played each other over the years from Little League all the way through and trust me there have been some classics from double to triple overtimes. This will be a fun game to watch with kids who respect each other and each others talents. The LCM players know what they are up against and I promise you they are not the ones putting up all these post. This will be hard fought but LCM hasn't won BIG in a long time and I promise you it wont start Friday Night. Bridge City will be undefeated going into district with this team! Stump has been very experimental during scrimmages and pre-district with personnel and assignment change ups. Things seem to be looking upward. BC 24 LCM 21. We definitely have the better kicker from 50 yards and in and that will be the difference. Good Luck to both teams!

This Kountze defense isn't the best out there. Woodville put up 59 points on kountze and also held them to a goose egg...HJ didn't even allow Woodville to get any good drives going and put up 26 and only allowed 7. Good win for BC, but don't start thinking BC will be dominate every game. People like this make me proud to be from BC. What he meant to say was nice job BC in your win and see you in district. But thanks for the locker room material and its not like we need it. HJ dogging BC in football now thats a first!

2A EC is somthing like 9-0 vs. 3A's the past few years... Not in BC

2-0 and looking better. Still need more two back sets to help Lemoine survive in the pocket. Coach Stump seems to be be having confidence in his players and his calls. BC will not be a pushover for anyone once district starts. GO BIG RED........

Josh Lemoine looked fantastic tonight and spread the ball around with precision. Will get better each week and he is not making mistakes. Keep it up Josh and dont listen to crap on this board because it means nothing. Keep your team focused and good things will happen.....GO BIG RED

Although we appreciate your concern for my sons playing time, he will earn his way on his own ability as an impact player and not on a website. These 2 runs totaled at least 100 yards of offense. Dishon had a big game. That year on Varsity last year gave him some experience that will help the Cardinals this year. Don't you agree? What speed are Cardinals not utilizing? Can they block as well? The Cards need all the blocking they can get on the Offensive side of the ball to help move the ball. The cards aren't utilizing Hydes speed enough. If He or Dishon would have broke open on either of those plays they would have scored, even though they were called back. Lemoine and Menard are big and strong, but will get caught and they are featured runners on this team. I agree we are weak on the line offensively, but something went right b/c we ran the ball affectively. I've been told by several people that last years JV QB was fast and ran the ball great last year and was a very accurate passer. Where's he at, did he move, or is he still on JV?? I realize that Lemoine is the man this year, but what about next?? I agree Dishon had a big game, he is a great safety and a good receiver. tremendous athlete, should get about 5-6 carries a game on reverses and screens.

Stop Shelby Stanley and they might have a prayer but I do not see it. Thsi kid is as tough as a boot and meaner than a junk yard dog.

I would like to know that also..................he was one of the leading receivers in district as a soph and just about every play manages to get open, but last year and now this year.............................he will never get a pass and it's blatantly obvious that the qb refuses to throw to him or the coach has told the qb not to throw to him........................either way, after his soph. year he has been taken out of the receiving practically all together and had an outstanding year then and the numbers speak for themselves. And your question has been asked by numerous people, but not sure of the answer other than what I said above. And it's become so obvious that it's laughable. This team is loaded with good receivers and there is no I in Team.

Cale Hyde is a speed burner as you can tell on the return and works in the backfield also. He has extreme explosion and can outrun the corners. With Menard and Hyde in the backfield together would be deadly with a splash of Dishon could mean scores galore. Smash and Dash has a good ring to it. When is the last time anyone saw any team run two kicks back in a game. Credit goes to the whole kickoff team and the two super athletes that took it to the house. Liberty has fault but you cant catch watch u cant see. They had two plays and over 150 yards of prevention and Dishon and Hyde still cashed the check. Once this team works out the kinks they will be a tough nut to crack.
