1.
Teamraider, I feel that you have made an inaccurrate perception of our fans.  They would never intentionally disrespect anyone's child.  That was mostly the grandparents of our kids (Christian women), who were leading the cheers.  If you have seen our pregame ritual, these are the same women who lead us in prayer every saturday, and they have never failed to mention the health, safety, and well being of our opponents players in their prayers.  They have love for all of the kids, and all of the coaches who take time out with the kids.  I assure you they were just trying to let our players know how proud of them they were, and how they were happy about what they had accomplished, considering all of the drama that we have been through this year.  My apology was ginuwine, and these are some wonderful parents, I just don't won't them being portrayed in a negative manner on here, because that is not what they represent.  I wished you would have voiced your displeasure when it occurred, and I would have allowed you to speak with one of the ladies, and have your own personal experience with them, and I am sure that you would have left impressed.  Please don't go out like this.  The season is over, it was fun, and competitive.  See ya next year, Maybe......
Well I am not associated with either organization, but the reason I asked is because I along with many other people were there at the end of that game and did think it was very disrespectful for them to be singing and gloating by a bunch of kids who were obviously upset and thought the celebration could have been handled in a little different manner to not rub it in so much, but to each it's own i guess. I'm sure I will be hammered now because I said something negative about WOS so fire away

All I know is what I saw, but it don't matter the season is over. I pulled my post off... Congratulations again and we'll see you next year.
3.
Thanks for the compliments Team Raider, sorry about the fans.  I think that they were a little pumped up from a comment made to them at our semi final game @ LCM from one of your coaches.  I am sure it was said in good spirit, just having fun, but a coach told one of our fans to get her cheering out against Bridge City, because they wouldn't have anything to cheer about in the Super Bowl.  That pumped them up, and they came ready to scream to the top of their lungs, but I do understand what you are saying.  I do apologize for them, if you truly feel that it was distasteful.
What happened to the original post that this is in reference to?
 4. It's for fun.make up your own rankings it that makes you feel better..There all in good fun and don't mean anything.. You mean these teams don't make the playoffs based on these power rankings? What up with that?? I mean it works in college football right.......... ;D ;D ;D ;D
 5. Vidor has 5 junior high teams: 7th , 8th North A , 8th North B, 8th south A , 8th south B The team that beat C.O. Wilson 28 - 0 is Vidor 8th South B. (all 8th graders except there backfield) The 7th grade does not have a chance because the Vidor coaches took all their best players and put them on 8th grade teams. They do not work with the 7th graders at all ! there is not an north 8a and 8b team and south 8a and 8b team, there is a north a and b and south a and b. the north and south b teams have just as many 7th as 8th graders. it was a little confusing at first, but i think it will work itself out. the coaches made a decision because they had too many kids for 4 teams, plus some schools in our district just started 7th grade teams this year. the main reason all this was done, i believe, is to give the kids more playing time. last year the north 7th and south 7th played a lot of 8b teams because that was all that was available. it is hard for the 7th graders to pick up the offense vidor runs and they will take some lumps, but in the long run it will help them transition to high school ball and that's the main purpose of jr high football. as for the coaches not working with the 7th graders....that is a flat out lie. they had very little time to get prepared for their first game due to school starting so late and it showed. i think the coaches are doing their best and are doing a good job with the resources they have. this is a LEARNING experience for the young kids. the wins and losses don't amount to much in jr high. you're hardly ever on equal playing terms with the teams you're playing. at least the 7th grade will be mostly playing 7th graders this yr and the ones playing up have some help from some 8th graders. Actually Vidor has 5 teams this year: 8th north a and b, 8th south a and b, and 1 7th grade team with some 7th graders playing up on some b teams. All schools in the district will now play 1 7th grade team 2 8th teams pending any numbers situations. In the past 7th graders have played on 8th b teams, but only 2 schools in the district had true 7th grade programs... Little Cypress and Lumberton. Now they all have the same and can play a true district 7th and 8th grade schedule.
 6. Why is there even threads about predictions for these scrimmages and then a thread about the results and then if the results aren't what some people want it really doesn't matter. Then those same people who started the threads say that nobody wins a scrimmage because it's just a practice. You can't make predictions and give results if it is just a practice. Somebody help me understand this logic...
 7. Sounds like the Coops have something personal against Vidor. Vidor is not the one picking themselves to win district, a magazine did, they are just excited to have a good team and maybe a chance for a good season. Give em a break. Scrimmage or not, injuries or not, Vidor dominated that scrimmage in the first half and I am sure alot of backups for both teams saw some time in the second half. I noticed quite a few white hats on both sides getting some action.
