  1. Its all good man Kirbyville (not all just some) doesn't know what it feels like to consistently win like ec and Newton he'll grow up 1 day Jw how yall can talk trash on a team that just played in the state championship?? The Mule Rode The Cats, if had been the other way around, nothing but Praise.
  2. At the E.C. v Newton game in Newton's remodeled Singletary Stadium
  3. got nothing else to say? you might have a chance of beating newton but only in your wildest dreams will you beat the cats .........................................Yo FreshmanPhenom# 17, Are the Cats scheduled to play East Chambers or are You Just Hatin' for the Sake of Hatin'? Never mind I answered My Own Question. Let the Eagles and the Bucs workout our issues, You learn to " Ride The Mule " Okay ........................................
  4. North of Kirbyville, East of Jasper, South of Liberty Community, and West of Louisiana. You can't miss it.
  5. Seems I remember the same thing only a few years ago happening to Kirbyville, a lot. Programs can turn around. Is that right Mr. ChampionEagles? Even when we were down San Augustine never just dominated Kirbyville. Newton was the team that gave us problems for years. Exactly! I remember numerous times Newton pulling it's starters after the first quarter when they were playing Kirbyville. It's easy to kick on somebody when they are down, but it really don't help build much of a team. To excell in the playoffs you need to be tested repeatedly. I'm glad Kirbyville has finally put a program together. And I remember ya'll have a one in a row winning streak going against the Eagles. You know, if ya'll two would sit back and think about this for a second, you could have 2 state champions from the same district!! Hey ana fan, have no doubt about it these two programs respect and love each other. I have said a millions times they are just like brothers. When it comes to these two they will fight and act like you have seen in most of these post. When it comes times to support each other you will not find any two programs that have a better relationship. Take notice to the names of the players, its pretty much one community of several families divided into two school districts. So you southern 2a schools that are kinda new to the newton-kirbyville (oops I mean Kirbyville-newton) rivalry take note! and tread lightly!! I am getting too sensitive in my old age, I was wrong about You." rykerx144 " I Apoligize. Good Luck To You and The Wildcats. thanks man!!! its just the truth!! I love them Eagles nine outta the ten weeks lol oh by the way that dont change anything were still going to kick your butts!!! It's good to hold on to your dreams..... Later.
  6. Newton by 2 Tds. Based on what I saw @ Coldsprings, Just Got That Feeling.

  8. Kirbyville has built a program. We were missing one thing.....a good head coach for years. Newton became more dominant over Kirbyville when Coach Barbay became head coach. I like newton and I respect yall accomplishments. Now it is Kirbyville's turn to do what yall have done on several occassions......win state!! What i like about da "Ville" this year is that they're young, hungry and got ALOT of heart!!! It would be great for The Cats to win A State Title, and I really do hope it happens. The road to a title requires hard work, talent, great coaching, focus and a fair amount of respect for yourselves and those that your meet along the way. Good Luck to K'ville. That being said , I am still putting my money on the Eagles to beat the Cats this year. Let's bring both 2A titles back to 22-2A.
  9. Yo FreshmanPhenom, it is You that is trying to use the put down. I am dealing with the fact that 15 straight wins for the Eagles and 1 straight win for the Cats in the last 20 years clearly indicts that The Eagles can win, have won and no doubt will win again. 1 win against Newton, is only domination in Your world. What I got to say to You Phenom is 15 Games, 556 points Eagles and 102 points Cats. 1 Game, 42 points Cats and 27 points Eagles. Can You do the Math?

You know, if ya'll two would sit back and think about this for a second, you could have 2 state champions from the same district!! Thought about that a lot; this year and last; it would be great to see the Eagles and the Wildcats win 2 State Titles in this district ( that would be epic ). Supporting the Wildcats is easy, they are building a program to be Proud of; but one or two of their fans, make it tough to remember that we're neighbors, when all they seem to want to do is slam the Eagles; one good season doesn't earn anyone that right. Prior to last year, it was easy to find Cat supporters in Newton, now not as easy ( not impossible, but not as easy ) and it isn't because they beat us on the field. More to do with the disrespect shown for The Eagles, The Coaches ( one of which they now have on their staff ), Our Stadium and Our Community, before and after that lose. Hard not to want to respond in kind.
  11. Cats need to play the 9 other games on the schedule before worrying about November 6th, or don't they matter. I'll bet you Diboll, Jasper, WO-S, Liberty, Hardin Jefferson, Shelbyville, Hemphill, Woodville, and San Augustine think they do. Don't overlook anyone, the Bullseye, after all, is on the Cats backs. K'ville's world is full of teams just itching to knock ya'll off. Good Luck
  12. I am present in the Here and Now, and from what I've seen of the Eagles so far this year, that is the perfect place to be. The Eagles past is a snapshot of their future, decades with a tradition of success, leads to more success in the present, as well as in the future. Eagles Soar, while Cats are an Earth Bound Creatures. Like I said, Show Some Staying Power First, Or better yet, Show Some Get There Power First, then the Bragging. Have A Nice Day and Be Sure To Write.
  13. newton wont be on top of nothin this year and the game is in kirbyville this way we dont have to travel to beat them down There's going to be a beat down alright, it is going to be in K'ville alright, but it isn't going to be the Eagles getting beat. Just remember that Your Cats did make it all the way to the Big Rodeo last year, But Couldn't Ride The Mule. you will see least we made to the big rodeo unlike newton cant even get past dangerfield Eagles versus Daingerfield, 1 and 1 with 1 State Title; Wildcats versus Muleshoe 0 and 1 with No State Title. What else ya got?
  14. Forgetting about 15 straight losses must have been tough to do, 7 of which were by shutout, I don't blame you for trying. You had to bring up the Eagles terrible record with Daingerfield, didn't ya. Played Daingerfield twice,1 win in '98 for a State Title and '08 was a 4th round loss by 3 points. Maybe when the Cats win 14 more games in a row against the Eagles, Go into the playoffs the next 10 straight years, to match the Eagles 15 straight: Run your 18 rounds of playoffs since '88 up to 55 rounds to match the Eagles, and Win a 3-A State Title and Win a 2-A State Title, to bring Your total to 3, then the Eagles will need to forget that they have had a little problem with the Cats lately. 1 loss in 16 games is a, like You said, little problem. Wait Until You've Done Something To Brag About, Before Bragging. In other words Ride the Mule. There is no question that the Cats program is much improved, but don't act like the Big Dog on the porch just yet, show some real staying power first.
  15. Looking Forward To Trying Out My New Seat At The New And Improved Singletary Stadium.
  16. it was verified this morning by our long time announcer, and it is also posted on the SETX scrimmage schedule.
  17. Scrimmage against Center is Saturday, August 15,2009 at Singletary
  18. November 06, 2009, Newton at Kirbyville, Eagles Will Soar.

  20. For what its worth, a lot of "EC people" feel the Barbay dodged EC when the Thomas, McDonald, Trammel group was there in 06 and 07. Yeah, the last years playoff blowout was a forgone conclusion; but the 08 squad bore very little resemblance to the two before it. EC requested the home & away with Newton in 06-07, and Barbay refused...then went on-air after the 08 game and said "they ain't no good" or words to that effect. That wasn't "honesty", that was gall. So, You just won't leave sleeping Eagles lay.... Will Ya??? The way I see it, ECBucFan, You Can Either Learn To Live With The Injustice Of It All, Or You Can Invent A Time Machine, So That We Can All Go Back To A Better Place And Time. You Know, Your Fantasy World. Get Over Yourself.
