Good job Evadale. It has been a long day in Huntington. Evadale never gave up and fought hard. Great fielding. Bats came alive. Getting it all back together. Great job guys

Really not sure what Evadales' strategy is, but not understanding why they pitched #4 and another that hasnt pitched but a couple of games all season. Bats finally came alive in the top of the 6th. Still have another shot Saturday. Should be fun.

Evadale

Evadale gave up 9 runs in an inning from what i have been told. That doesnt concern me. What has me thinking is why Evadale only came up with 1 run. Like I said in another post. Thats baeball.

Baseball is an unpredictable sport. Douglass beat Evadale in game 1 last year 8-7. The next day Evadale wins the 2nd and 3rd games 13-3 and 11-7. You see it everyday on any level of baseball. Somedays your best hitters couldnt hit water if they fell out of a boat but your weaker hitters tear the ball apart. Thats baseball. Thats why we enjoy it so much. Never place a bet on a baseball game because thats a quick way to lose your money. ;D

Evadale should be tough. Strong bats from 1-9 and very good fielders. If Evadale gets the 2 out of 3, their opponent is gonna have to have at least 3 dominant pitchers. JMO

This subject has been going on for years and will continue. I'm sure Evadale is not the only school in the great state of Texas named the Rebels. Check around. Let it be. If this is the only thing you people have to worry about then consider yourself very fortunate. Rebels and Indians are great. If you dont like our mascots then dont look at them.

I bet all those that said Evadale was overated will be hard to find on this thread. At least the ones that have some sense.

WOW. What a game. Evadale came out tonight to play ball. But just when you are feeling good about the game, a blocked punt for a touchdown, then a bad snap over the punters head changes everything. But Evadale rallied back for a td. The last 3 minutes of this game was excellent for both sides. The Rebel D stepped it up and played with HEART AND GUTS and stopped Colmesneil on 4th and 4 with I think 8 seconds left in the game. It has been said over and over again and it was proven tonight [u][b]DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!![/b][/u] Rebels you have shown why you are 10-0. Be proud of yourselves
