whoever came up with this list doesnt know much about the coaches in this area. how do you leave griff off the list...lcm gets hated on again!!! thats ok...we are used to it....keep hating and lcm will keep winning!! ;D

Congrats to Gulf Coast Storm 9U for going 4-0 and winning the Contraband Classic Tournament in Lake Charles this weekend. They outscored their opponents 60-13 on the weekend. Great job guys. We are very proud of you. Keep up the hard work!!

Gulf Coast Storm 9U won the Romp in the Swamp tournament in crowley, la this weekend with a 4-0 record. They only allowed 3 runs the whole tournament with great pitching and defense. Way to go Storm!!

i also recommend John Patterson. My boy takes from him and im thoroughly pleased. his resume speaks for itself. He has played for the expos, nationals, and rangers in the bigs. great guy, good with kids. call grand slam (409)670-1832

congrats to vidor. good luck in irving. yall will represent gt well.thanks to pa for being great hosts and preparing the fields after the rains. as for slade and i, we will miss pinto and the coach pitch era, but our kids in orange are ready to learn and play kid pitch. again..great tournament. also thanks to all the coaches and parents who made it an awesome experience for all the kids!!

kf...as of now slam is 3-4 in two tournaments for usssa and slam was second at nations tournament the weekend before. gtb's record is a lot better now considering they went 4-0 in the state tournament. so i dont understand your point kf??? i am through posting on this subject. this post was about a group of talented 8 year olds winning the state tournament and someone has to turn it all around instead of just kindly saying congrats to this group of kids. i dont have a kid playing gtb...we are with slam...but you know what...i bet if you did have a kid playing on gtb and you just won the state tournament, then you would be sooo proud of them!!! again..congrats gtb and slam wishes you the best of luck at WORLD SERIES!!!!

Thanks guys!!! We worked very hard this year to accomplish these goals. We couldn't have done it without a great group of kids and an awesome group of parents!! Now we get to buckle down for All Stars!!
