I want to congradulate the Cougars on their performance Friday night in Newton vs. a big 3A Center and the 7th ranked team in the state for 2A, Newton. Yall stayed with both teams and showed them Buna aint just a bunch of punks. I say Buna will beat OF 17-12 and will be decided by the defenses in the 4th quarter. Good Luck guys

Buna's defense had an excellent game against deweyville a couple weeks ago by stopping a 2000 yard rusherfor the year by stopping him at just 62. Last friday against Warren they got off to a slow start but picked it up at half by shutting down a physical warren offense. If they play with the same intensity as they did in the last few games they will come out on top. Barbay, though is an excellent coach when it comes to pressure but Buna's staff aint bad. Yeah the Anahuac game will haunt the coogs for the rest of this year. Now starting monday they have to practice and play hard just to play the next week.

Buna lost to Anahuac in the first district game. This game, if they lose to Warren, will knock em out of the playoffs. With that win against Anahuac they wud have been in it. 7 fumbles and 2 ints. can hurt you.

Yea Buna lost to Anahuac but didnt Warren lose to Deweyville? Buna beat D-ville 19-6. Dont go by past games cause if you do that than by statistics Buna will beat Warren.

Casey Colley #33, Anthony Smith #20, and Brian Holmes #32 from Buna are some hardnosed players who will stick you.

Justin Williams is a pretty good running back but Buna's d-line stopped EC up the middle forcing them around the outside. Buna will stop him and deweyville all night. I'm pretty sure the Coaches worked the secondary this week on sweeps and pitches so Buna will be ready.

Bunas gunna take it to d-ville to tie for second in district and beat warren to make it to playoffs. Buna - 41 D-ville - 12

i like mine fried. yeah they lost but buna started off pretty good but a few mistakes and they fell apart. but hey they still have a good chance to make playoffs.

I like Buna in this one. This is the ultimate test for the cougars but its goin to come down to who shows up to play. If Thomas is kept on the defensive side of the ball Buna should win. Yea PantherDad Buna Shut out Kountze but they destroyed Anahuac.If Buna wins 2 more games they are in the playoffs Anahuac cant lose again and theyre no match against EC or Dville Ive seen both of those teams play and they are really tough. I doubt Anahuac will make top 5 much less the playoffs.

PantherDad Anahuc lost to Kountze and Hardin the 2 weekest teams in the district I highly doubt they will win anaother game as far as Warren I havent seen them but i have seen Buna and in my opinion they have the best defense in the district if not one of the best in the area.

Im gunna go with Buna by at least 2 or 3 tds. Sure theres talk about Anahuac beat Buna But Kountze beat Anahuac but you cant score when your team has 7 fumbles with 2 ints. If I remember Kountze was drilled by Hull-Daisetta but Buna shut them out. Again I say Buna Takes it to the Lions for Homecoming.
