The ss, Caleb Mangum committed to Rice this summer, and I believe their ace, Gabryski??, is getting quite a few looks. Kpark is definetly a talented team whom i did say has the potential to take #1; i just lean towards Crosby since my nephew plays summer ball with a few of their kids.

1. Crosby- New coach, one D-1 committment and couple of d-1 recruits. Ready to build off of last years success. 2. KP- Great staff, all returning players. Going to put a great fight for that number one spot. 3. BH- Decent pitching coming back, offense is questionable 4. GCM- Prove me wrong on this one Rupp.

Caleb Mangum(jr-ss)- Crosby- ba:.510...rbi:23.....hr:6 (all before district starts)..strong arm, good range...upper 80's low 90's across diamond. Ronnie Newell(jr-c)- Laporte- Statistics unkown but very talented w/ 1.78 pop time and squares up good at plate w/ power. John Cialone(c-jr)- St. Johns- Houston Chronicle player of week(10-13 w/ 5 Hr and 13 rbi?

Let's not forget that smesny hit 4 Crosby batters, as well as the pitcher for Crosby, who in all fairness had a right for retalliation after being hit in the throwin arm by a 90mph smesny fastball. No, it's not very sportsmanlike, but this is Crosby vs. Dayton, as well as a competitive game; daddy ball is over folks...we can take it from here. Props to a spectacular pitching performance by both teams, especially smesny for giving up only 4 hits, 2 to the 3 hole for Crosby, who had all 4 rbi's and game winning hr Best game of the year by far for District 21-4a
