Oh, I forgot to give my prediction. Lumberton 24 LC-M 21 I was also misunderstood on my tackling comment, what I meant to say was it looks like the players are more worried about knocking the ball out of the hands than trying to tackle the ball carrier. Don't have enough fingers and toes on how many missed tackles in the backfield we have per game. :shock: :shock:

I AGREE 110%!!!! This year has been a MAJOR turnaround from years past. 4-4 is alot better than the 0-8 of last year. At last weeks game against Ozen, there was hardly anyone in the Ozen stands, AND IT WAS THEIR HOMECOMING!!!!!! They announced the homecoming queen before the game got started. This group of boys and their coaches have nothing to be ashamed of. They have the school and the community behind them, and I don't think it would matter if they were 4-4, 8-0 or 0-8, they would have the support. How about all bashers let us enjoy the season we have had and show a little class.

Since beating Vidor, I think the defense keeps taking "Forget How To Tackle And Play Defense" pills before the game. I lost count of how many missed tackles were done in the backfield. I'm not saying the defense was perfect at the beginning of the season, but at least it was somewhat getting the job done. :shock: :shock:
