Jasper is really thin on pitching right now so Coach Mixon wanted to save his aces for OF and WO-S...Just to make sure he won them....had the #3 pitcher been healthy this weekend...im sure LCM would have saw Alvis last night

Parsons goes all game for Jasper allowing 2 runs...good outing for the sophomore

Elhert hit a shot today that was the longest ive seen since Sam Smith played for Jasper

Folks, LCM is for real....thats all i can say.....

the 1 and 2 pitchers were not injured but the #3 isnt pitching this weekend so they are really thin on pitching...Coach just wants to throw his aces against Orangefield and WO-S tommorow because he prolly feels like he can beat them a little easier...You throw Alvis tonite and lose against LCM, then your pretty much screwed for atleast one game tommorow pitching wise...Seems like a wise decision to me

did elhert pitch?...I left after the fourth...if he did...he only gave up 2 at the most

Jasper threw their #4 or 5 guy against LCM....just because of some injruies and lack of pitching depth......Wouldnt use this to rate either team.....I personally think its pretty impressive that they stayed within 5 runs of LCM considering the guys they through had very little pitching experience

My question is this... Lets say WO-S or any other school for that matter makes it to state in Volleyball this year. This will most certainly conflict with football games....So Do you cancel the football game?...isnt it the same thing or are some sports less important than others

who are they?.... No Doubt from Jasper: Justin Parsons Soph. LHP Taylor Hart Soph. SS/OF

from what i understand it wouldnt have made much of a difference...the backup qb actually played very well

yea they do...its their tournament....

Im sure he does...but I still doubt he would do the same thing given he were in that situation.....its a tough decision

those are some excellent players

i dont think so...i seriously doubt that if Jasper was in the state tourney they would cancel all their baseball games and leave all the other teams hanging

From what I understand its the old Bridge City Head Baseball Coach....Bears can give you more info on it im sure

nah i still think they should be able too, definitely in a 3 or 5 game series....one man doesnt make up a team......
