West End Little League will be conducting a Fall Ball program. This is a great opportunity for your child to work on baseball skills in a more relaxed atmosphere or to be introduced to the field on which your child will be playing next spring.

West End Fall Ball is open to qualified West End players and for players & teams from other leagues if your league does not offer a Fall baseball program.

REGISTRATION -

WHEN:            Wednesday August 29th and Thursday August 30th, 2012

TIME:              5pm - 7pm

WHERE:        WELL Concession Stand

AGES:            League Age 6-12 (determined as of May 1, 2013)

LEAGUES OFFERED:

                        Coach Pitch, Age 6-8
                        Minor League, Age 9-10
                        Major League, Age 11-12

COST:            $70.00 per player

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

1)    Each player will receive a jersey and a hat;
2)    The season will consist of 10 games played between Mid-September and the last
        week of October;
3)    Games will be scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays;
4)    WELL Fall Ball program is fairly laid back with special rules implemented -

a)    Full roster batting for all age groups
b)    Each pitcher limited to 2 innings per game
c)    Free substitutions.

      It has been frustrating seeing the lack of coverage from virtually EVERY media outlet.  We (Chester) are in the SE Texas coverage area.  There are no radio broadcast from our area, and Ch 12 is the only one that has even mentioned it.   I know I could have gotten donations to cover a SETX Sports broadcast.  Oh well, water under the bridge - we aren’t as big as Silsbee, WO-S or PN-G.
