Sabine Lake Causeway Launch-Texas side

Watch out for the slime on the Texas side launch. I saw what had to be a first time fisherman walk down the ramp to load his boat and he immediately hit the pavement on his back and ended up under the trailer. I hurt me just to see it but he got up and appeard okay!

Yeah.  That ramp is dangerous.  Almost busted my rear out there this weekend.  Always be careful around the water.  i watched some idiot driving way too fast in a Whaler with his kids in the boat.  They lost control and almost killed the kids.  I think they were ok, but it's people like that(probably drunk) who you have to watch out for.

sounds like a steering cable popped or something. Whaler's are known as the unsinkable legends on the water and their owners are experienced operators.  Experienced operaters drive their boats onto the trailer, they do not stand in the water at the launch! Get a Whaler, I know where you can buy one !
