If Franks didnt have a grand slam it would have been 8-2 buna..it was a big win for our program beating a tough team like WO-S. They played a good game, but we came out on top!

My cousin said Ayers started for Wo-s and Vietch came in in the 2nd and went the rest of the way. good ballgame, he said it was 7-7 after 2 and a battle after that.

But he did, so it wasn't. So the grand slam drove in 5 runs?? Without it I come out to 8-3 but maybe math is done a little differently in buna :scratch

Don't forget the Stangs were without 4 players last night (2 starters) because their basketball team is soooo good!!

WOS had 7 hits in the game. Scored 7 runs in the first 2 innings on 4 walks a hit batter and 5 hits. Buna had 7 hits 3 walks and a hit batter and scored 7 runs in the first 2 innings! Wow, I bet they thought that game was never going to end after the way it started out.

Buna was up 4-1....then the grand slam was hit which made it 5-4....take away that one curve ball that was left hanging...and buna comes out 8-3. but it was a good win for our cinfidence as a team.
