Ther is a great tournament in Sulphur LA. this coming weekend. We always go play in it because it's for a good cause. Our team just met for the first time yesterday. It's a toys for tots tournamnet and a new toy from each player is the entry fee.

Cold, but very nice fields. Tournament wise went good for my 11u, we lost lost but gave them a battle for kids that never played select before. Saturday scores were 6-5, 7-5 and Sunday we played #2 seed and lost 6-5. To have kids that never played select I think we gave them a good run for it. TEXAS RENEGADES kept there heads up and wil be ready for 2012 !

Can you qlarify the last part ? My son plays for TEXAS RENEGADES, we will sign up for Nations in January to play at Ford Park

If that was for me, I started a new team in Port Neches called Warriors Baseball. I have 1 BC kid, 2 Groves kids, and 7 Port Neches kids.

We will start practicing Jan. 3rd. Let me get the kids together for about a week and I'll call you that second week of January.

I ran into a guy from Lumberton in Sulphur that has a select team.  I should see him tonight, I will get his info for you.

      It has been frustrating seeing the lack of coverage from virtually EVERY media outlet.  We (Chester) are in the SE Texas coverage area.  There are no radio broadcast from our area, and Ch 12 is the only one that has even mentioned it.   I know I could have gotten donations to cover a SETX Sports broadcast.  Oh well, water under the bridge - we aren’t as big as Silsbee, WO-S or PN-G.
