Just as we watched #1 LSU and #2 Alabama fight it this past weekend (many say this was the true national championship)
#1 Lucas Lovejoy (3 time defending state champions) and #2 Argyle will battle it out Tuesday night. Should be a great match!!!

I think we are seeing how good this team is. Sure hope they move up to 4A. I believe they would win state in 4A as well. Ryan Mitchell is a great coach. I had two opportunities to talk with him and he's just flat out got his stuff together.

Montgomery eliminated Magnolia from the postseason with a 25-23,22-25,22-25,25-23,15-13 win over Magnolia to advance to the Region III-4A tournament for the second time in three years.

Lovejoy will win state in 3A hands down.  They may not lose a game in playoffs.  They excelled at the top 5A tournaments this year (Top 5 in both Pearland and Duncanville).  I believe the only losses are to teams that are ranked in the top 10 in the state.
