I need yall's opinion...

In all honestly what do yall think of max preps and there state rankings. I'm trying to get a feel for what people look at it as. Do they know what they are talking about or are they just picking teams out of a hat?

I always go by the AP poll.  It's pretty accurate, most of the time.  Most of the other polls favor certain parts of the state. (Depending on the poll) IMHO, MaxPreps is a joke.

Like I said, if you're gonna follow a poll, the AP is your best bet.

It has a top 10.  It also list teams that are on the verge of breaking into the top 10...  It's listed as "others receiving votes".  So all together, it list about 20 teams.

It puts a bullseye on a couple of us, that's for sure!  If you're a top 10 team, you usually get everybody's best shot.  On the plus side, the publicity is nice... ;)

Actually i just wanted to see what vidor's ranking and the rest of 20-4A's teams ranking

and i might have taken a look at texas's high ranking....
