News that could shake up the NL Central

Adam Wainwright could be out for the season.  According to 790 am, Wainwright, the Cardinals #1 starter and a Cy Young candidate, has been sent back to St. Louis with what looks to be a serious right elbow injury.  There has even been talk by the Cardinals GM that he will likely require Tommy John suregery - thus endind his season before it even begins.

Wainwrights injury does affect them in a huge way but they still have a pretty solid squad and should still win the NL Central.
