Win for Dayton. Starters pulled early.

Your probably right. But I hope while the starting offense is in they work on the short passing game. Got to fine tune that machine for the playoffs. Gonna be a few 3rd and 7's in our near future.

If our o line plays like it has been we will run on them downs. Our passing is not often the deep ball, its the 7-10 yard out routs and the screen, that they take for 15+ yards. I know what you mean though, not often does a run team make it deep into the playoffs like we are working for.

McBride will get plenty of touches and I would soon not over use him to much and risk getting him hurt need to keep him healthy for the post season games that count . We have an excellent core of receivers that need more play and this will allow the O-line to fine tune their pass-block schemes. Final district game to plug any hole's we have on either side of the ball and not worry about running up the score.

I think we are all on the same page this week. In the first half lets get a commanding lead and work on the passing game. I also think that Carranco needs to kick a few field goals instead of just XP's. Just for game speed practice.  Should be an easy win but lets just get some good practice and keep the boys healthy.. Hello playoffs

I agree with the prior posts. I might add that there is no way a player of Jakari's caliber won't be missed, but this team still has all the parts necessary to be very successful. The potential of the passing game has yet to be realized and with our offensive line and the running game in the capable hands of Herrera, Xavier, and McBride, the Broncos future is very bright. Don't throw into double coverage and find the open receiver. The defense is playing fantastic, although the secondary needs a little fine tuning. One game at a time and the sky is the limit!

No reason to come with what brung ya AFTER you get a commanding lead. I say its all practice after the 3rd minute of the game. Let "my little pony"(McBride)  score a TD early and then work on the passing game and giving X some touches. Maybe we can see a long FG out of Carranco. The highlight of this game will be hearing the BH and Crosby score over the loud speaker.

We need to work on the passing game over the middle of the field. Early in the season when McBride was in the slot they ran a screen on the edge and McBride ran a post up the middle. The play went for 20 yrds every time. This is where I think the coaches need to work X in. Seems like we only attack the edges ( probaly safer ) but as we go into the playoffs teams are ready for that. Got to open the field up a bit more.

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history.
