How in the world can TEXAS be left out of the top 25 ?? I realize they lost some very big talent but they still have a lot of outstanding players.

They left Texas off trust me I checked it twice!

Texas has been left out of pretty much all of the preseason polls I have seen (5 or 6). I think they are being left out because they are such a young team and its difficult to gauge how they are going to do.

The coaches voted and Texas is predicted to finish 4th in the Big XII this year. That shows the respect other coaches have for the young players.

Texas has a lot of young athletes, but coming in right behind Daniel Gibson is Harrison Ford- from the same high school. So I think it could be a pretty good show this year...

They had too many graduate or leave. Also, they figure some of them will start selling wedd or something. One last reason, they will be dominated by A&M, Tech, OSU, OU, etc....etc.......
