Kayla Fullerton and the Bridge City Lady Cardinals defeated Kirbyville Tuesday night in straight sets: 25-18, 25-16, 25-14. BC will honor its Senior team members with Senior Night ceremonies when Jasper comes to town this Friday.

Dana Thornton, the varsity volleyball coach in Silsbee, won her 500th career match tonight ...

She almost had it this past Friday, but Bridge City got in the way. ...

That was one fantastic match.

There were several volleys that would have college recruiters drooling.

Both are VERY good team ...

OF must have lost. If they would have won there would be a 10 page post by now.

OUCH! :shock: A little harsh there. You might be right about us losing, though. I think we played Hamshire Fannett and they are the second place team in our district. You won't find much about volleyball in Orangefield, win or lose. Not many follow it and it is a shame because it is a great sport and we have a good coach. I usually get to the games, but had to miss last night so I don't know if we won or lost.
