New coach at High Island

does anyone know the new baseball coach for High Island, and does anyone have any information on him?

someone told me that someone was asking about the new baseball coach at High Island and that is me so I figured I would look at the website and post some of my information.

my name is Jacob Hooker I went to college at Texas State I played my High School baseball at Alief Elsik under Robert Copley (an outstand coach, he has been at Elsik for over 25 years and actually got his start at Vidor). I was a 3 year letter winner and all-district player (second base, pitcher) I played in several playoff games in high school and won a state championship in 1998 (mickey mantle AABC, high school summer league), and also on the runner up team in 2000 (Connie Mack AABC). I worked at Baseball USA in Houston working under some of the most successful high school coaches in the state history (Charlie Mariona spring woods high school, Chip Nila Elsik/spring woods, Don Lewis several private schools) all have been very successful. I just want to wish everyone goodluck this year.

I do not know the new coach but I met the High Island AD last year at a playoff game and this guy knows baseball - if he is still around I am sure High Island will do well this year. 8)

Which Coach Old AD Brit Hart or Rusty Cauthern the new AD?

I belive his name was Brit Hart - a young guy from North Texas .

Brit Hart is knowledgeable about Baseball. He left this summer & is coaching in Hico now.
