In 1st quarter, H-F was plagued by turnovers, but the EC passing game faltered too and was only able to take a 7-0 lead. After switching to the running game in the 2nd, EC began to drive with some regularity. Ty LeBlanc had some good runs up the middle, and kept the chains moving for EC. The EC line maintained their blocks downfield, and allowed the backs to grind forward. 

On defense, EC's Richard Boullion had an outstanding night with numerous tackles. For H-F, they intercepted an ill-advised EC pass and returned it the distance, but a penalty was assessed for a clip far behind the play. The EC defense held and kept the Horns scoreless. The weather was not bad at all. 21-0 EC wins.
