District track meets all set

The right to go to regionals will be on the line this week as area tracksters will compete in their respective district championships.

Both the District 20-4A and 23-2A meets will begin on Monday.

The 20-4A Track & Field Championships will be held at Beaumont West Brook High School Monday and Thursday.

The field events will begin Monday at 2:30 p.m. followed by the 3,200-meter finals and running prelims at 5 p.m. The running finals will take place Thursday at 5 p.m.

The 23-2A Track & Field Championships will be held at East Chambers High School in Winnie Monday and Thursday.The field events will take place Monday at 1 p.m. followed by the prelims. The running finals are set for 5 p.m. Thursday.

The District 21-3A Track & Field Championships will be held at Silsbee High School Tuesday and Thursday. Field events will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday followed by the prelims at 5 p.m. The running finals will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday.
