UCONN Recruiting Violations?

My understanding of this story is that UConn assistant coaches were dealing with a "handler" of one or two players who they knew had a relationship with an agent.  I'm sure there is more to it, and I would love to hear from others who have more information.  However, this brings to light a very common but inappropriate practice going on these days.  There are plenty of "handlers" out there who latch on to kids at a very young age.  These people are financed by agents and shoe companies.  The idea being they only have to hit on one or two stars to make the investment profitable.  High School sports should be about the joy of competition and the lessons learned from the involvement.  Most major college programs are having to deal with these people.  I hope they shut it all down!!
