Hardin will be fine....Hardin starts 3 soph and 2 freshman that play ton of mins. Its just growing pains right now for Hardin. The best point guard in the district isn't playing and thats hunter davis with a torn ACL. Also Villemez isn't playing and hardin was 6-0 in district with him last year and then 4-4 with him missing the last 8 games so he is a big loss too not playing this year. Next year will be a very good year for Hardin, this year is just one of those tough years.

Hunter davis Avg 17ppg last year as a sophmore in a district that was very tough last year. He's a junior right now....He's the best guard in the district and WR in the district.

i totally disagree with you baseball25...hunter davis is not the best guard or WR in the district. the best guards in the district are probably kountze's anahuac's and warren has some pretty good guards. 17 ppg? cody andrews from warren has averaged 26 points in the last 4 games. and the best receiver in the district far by would probably be braxton mayes from anahuac, hunter davis didnt even finish the season so he couldnt be

Hunter as a soph had  44 catches 880 12tds as a sophmore and couldn't play this year becasue of knee surgey...Like i said he avg 17ppg  8 asst per game last year as a sophmore in a district that was tough and hardin beat kountze and ec that year. Cody Andrews is going where in basketball????Warren university something like that lol i mean come on....He's not good he shoots the ball 25 times a game it seems like..what did cody andrews do last year he didn't even make all-district last year ???????thats right he hardly played....Hunter would be a junior this year avg 20plus points but he will be back stronger than ever next year just watch......By the way the district this year is very very weak......Last year you had 3 other teams that could have made the playoffs and won a game in the playoffs and thats deweyville,anahuac,warren....this year 3rd place team will get smoked....Cody andrews is playing in a weak weak district that is 2 teams deep...last year district was 6 teams deep with buna being the worse............cody andrews can't hold his jock...

Darn baseball25 tell us how you really feel.I'll have to agree with some of your post about Davis.He would be the best PG in the district this year but I don't think he would make Hardin a playoff team.He benefitted last year from Marsh and Nolan and would be the sole focus of the defenses this year.The guards from Anahuac and Kountze are both solid but they also have good players around them.I've never heard of the young man from EC but if he was as good as these 3 they would have a lot better record with Raymond and Carrington down low.The attack on Andrews was unneccesary,he's not a point guard in any form or fashion and he has to shoot it a ton if Warren is gonna score.I've gotta agree with ya about the district this year as a whole it is down terribly.

I am not saying Hardin is a playoff team if hunter was the point guard this year......But if he was playing then hardin would have Davis and villemez and Hardin would make a very hard run for that 3rd spot becasue if hunter davis goes the team goes....I will say this though Hardin next year will have davis and villemez and plus the 2 freshman that are maturing and the 3 sophmore starters that are getting better each game but are slowly figuring out what varsity basketball is all about......Hardin will be a playoff team next year and hunter davis will be by far the best guard next year..hes already getting stronger and bigger and the knee is getting there.For as villemez he's going to remind me of a vance mcdonald next year but villemez won't have the leaping ability vance had.....Sorry for the attack on andrews but I was just making a point......I just feel like he's the best point guard in the district  and by far the WR in the district...

Marquis James-Soph,Dj hall-soph, Tyler hunt-soph......... and 3 seniors 2 start........Ryan owens-fr,Kale rives-fr....Hunter davis avg. 17ppg and 8assists as a SOPH in a district that was very tough.....He would be averaging 20 plus this year in a district that is very weak....yeah as of  now......I am talking about the first 18 games buddy.......and if Hunter can't dribble than why couldnt kountze,anahuac,and ec stop him last year.......

Will Hardin win a dist. game

They may have a shot at beating Buna at Hardin,after the close loss to Warren last night I don't think they have many more chances to win one.Villimez didn't help them much last year but why isn't he playing this year.If he isn't hurt I can't imagine a coach letting him take a year off and then come back when his buddy gets well.Also anyone that thinks Davis isn't a player has either never seen him play or doesn't know much about the game.He would probably average 20 this year but with his supporting cast they still would be in trouble.The 3-7 teams in this distrct this year are pretty even but not very good  :( :( :(

Whs. hardin was 6/0 with villemez in district last yr. Then we lose him to grades and go 3/3 without him. He plays his role and does the dirty work 8points or so and 10 rebs. Numbers dont lie. Also hardin didnt have marquis james last night and hes a soph starter. We are going through growing pains rightnow but getting better each game

The 3-3 record the last half of the season didn't have much to do with Villamez.Hardin lost to Kountze at Kountze,to an EC team that was starting to peak and to a Warren club that they had beaten by 3 at Hardin.I think the loses were all on the road.Why isn't he playing this season?

Lost to ec by 7 points at home without villemez...... villemez shut down vance when we played them at ec and beat them by 12.....and then if we had him for centerville we beat them in the 2nd round of the playoffs and they beat us by 6.......Villemez played his role and he knew it real well....he knew why he was in there and for one reason only and it was to bang and frustrated people and do the dirty and he did that and when you got a guy like that it helps a ton like i said 8points and 10 rebs isnt bad when you know your role.......and believe me if we had him and hunter this year thats 30 points right now......and we have lost more than half of our games by 16 or less and we are sitting in 3rd easyyy..The reason he isnt playing is becasue hunter isnt....yeah i know pretty lame excuse.......but he will play next year......and also our qb miles taylor will play next year......we will have all 3 soph back and the 2 freshman......our point...

      The locals have almost finished firing the first ever Speaker of the House from Southeast Texas upon direct order of Trump and his minions.   It's a sad day... Locals have decided that being represented by the most powerful man in the House didn't mean anything.... they'd rather a political novice to represent this part of SETX.  And why is that?  He wasn't MAGA enough for them.  Who cares that it will hurt locally... What Trump says, goes.     Just yesterday I saw Trump on television demanding that we fire Phelan... How he's a RINO, weak on the border, etc... why?  Because he wouldn't overlook the criminal actions done by Ken Paxton, one of Trump's key supporters in the effort to overturn the 2020 Election and allow Trump to remain in office despite the will of the voters.   Trump never even mentioned Covey's name, and I doubt he would recognize Covey if Covey walked up with a cup of coffee.  Who cares that it's bad for SETX?  Not the R voters from SETX!   Then I saw Covey's preacher on a different ad tell a bald face lie.  Why should Phelan be fired?  "He put Democrats in positions of power in the House."  Really?  That's been the position of BOTH parties for as long as anybody can remember.  They ALWAYS give the minority party committee chairmanships.  But in 2022 the Rs decided that the practice should stop.  Democrat voters should not be allowed a voice in the crafting of legislation if there is a single majority Republican seat in the House, according to the Rs.  Representative Government?  Never heard of it, huh? Never did I believe that we'd have an abortion ban, constitutional carry, huge cuts for school property taxes, and Texas law enforcement being greenlit to enforce immigration law.  But it all happened while Phelan was speaker.  Without a doubt, the most conservative Speaker, ever.  But still a dirty RINO for not being MAGA enough.  It would be funny if it weren't true.   I've been following politics long enough to remember when Rs couldn't get elected in Texas... I'm confident that we're headed back that direction.  I mean, it's obvious that with population shifts we'll be turning blue eventually.  I think that the behavior of the leadership of the Republican Party is going to cause that shift sooner than expected.  I won't be surprised to see Democrat Senators and possibly even a governor elected within 12 years.  Maybe less.  The Rs will be a party apparatus without a voting base behind them.
