I agree and being a lifelong Astros fan I can totally understand everything he mentioned in the article. I remember in 1998 me and a couple of friends went to see the Astros and Marlins. The Astros blew them out that night so we left early and waited around the the players parking lot at the Astrodome. Moises Alou dove up to us on his Harley and a number of other players stopped and autographed our baseballs. I waited til the every end til Biggio came out. He was the last player left because he had a bad game and stayed to take xtra batting practice. Me,my friends, and a couple of other people were left and all of a sudden we saw this jacked up F-150 truck drove up to us and it was Biggio and he got out of his truck walked up to us and gave everyone left a autograph. I still have that baseball to this day and cherish it.

Wow! That is one great story. It's amazing how athletes don't realize how much they can effect a little kid with a kind word or gesture. I guess that's the difference between athletes of yesteryear and millionaires of today. I envy that guy.
