Can any body beat Kirbyville?

Recommended Posts

:):D:o ::)  I would say they are beatable , just as any team is on any given Friday Night.  Right Now Kirbyville is playing all round ball, they are able to spread it around to many different talents.  For Example , Broderick Jackson bears the load, and this past week, he was saved for this coming week...Barry Burley stepped up, Musgrove took off a few plays, and Jamichael Ervine added a few extra touches.  Lefrederick Ford is a very capable 2nd half back to keep the ball on any drive.  Hazelwood has been very good about throwing...although he had a few throws last week against Hemphill that could/ve (should/ve been picked)...Defensively, the wildcats do not give up....this tenacity carried over from the Jasper game, to get that ball back is great for any team.  I see the Newton game as the District Championship of course, but most likely both teams will advance, unless something terrible happens like what happened in Silsbee...anyway GIT RIDDY 4 FRIDAY!!

This topic is crazy!! Can K ville be beat?  You better believe it. Now it want come in the first or 2nd rd but they will be beat by the 3rd rd. Newton will take care of them first though.

Kirbyville is better than Diboll and Corrigan-Camden.  How did Newton do against those two?

How do you know Kirbyville is better than CC?  Because you decree it?  You Kirbyville fans are in for a rude awakeningif you think the teams you have been playing are indicative of 2A contenders. You have yet to see a decent 2A team.

As far as Diboll.. once again, there is no transitive property of football.  Also you are talking about two games that were each decided by a single score (or less), a single play in either game could have had the decision going the other way.  Even if there were a transitive property of football (there still is not) that is hardly decisive.

How do you know they are not better than CC? because you decree it?  Kirbyville football team has stepped up this year and is playing very well.  I relize history is history and historically they CC and Newton are better.  The problem is we are talking about the present and presently Kirbyville has stepped up to every challenge.

What game were you watching?  You must have been thinking about the Hemphill QB.  Hazlewood was on the money!

Agreed!  I broadcast the game and he was on cue all night!  Especially the long TD pass to Hughey!

Kirbyville can be beat but it won't happen till about the 3rd round or deeper in the playoffs. I've seen both K-ville and Newton play this year and K-vile will win by two TD's. I will add this note, Everybody thought WOS would just waltz through 3A when they dropped down and they went out in round 1 of the playoffs. If you overlook anybody it will come back to bite ya! :o

Kirbyville would smoke New Waverly just like they smoked Crockett.  How did CC do against New Waverly?

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "
