underarmor Posted September 27, 2008 Report Share Posted September 27, 2008 Evadale resumed its volleyball program in the old gym while major repairs will be needed in the new gym. Looked like the team isnt in need of major repairs as they picked up right where they left off before Hurricane Ike. Three straight vs Spurger who we might add was kind enough to make the trip and play an unscheduled game just to give both teams the work. Spurger also with a very good team this year and trying to keep the team playing as opponents are hard to find now that district has started for all the other classes. The district will begin Oct. 7 for both teams and trying to find teams to play in the meantime has been difficult. Our thoughts to all those who are suffering from the effects of Ike.
