This Friday the ASCS Sprint cars are back in Beaumont and at the Houston Raceway Park in Baytown.

The local sprint car driver Gary Watson and owner of Gary Watson Racing on College Street in Beaumont is going to try for a REPEAT of the there last night in Beaumont and pull off another win.

Come out and support our local racers and get ready for a great night of racing

The next week there is another big night at the track when the United States Modified Touring Series is coming back to town.

This is a very exciting class to come out and watch, these modifieds run probably 3/4 of the straight aways on 3 wheels and the left front tire hardly ever touches the track.

Here is a clip from one night the ASCS came to Beaumont, man these guys are fast.

I took my Dad to the races and we had a great time. Everyone needs to get out there and enjoy the races. For the money you can not beat the action.

I had forgotten how FAST and LOUD they were.

These cars were so fast last Saturday that when the leader Channin Tankersly (a 17 year old kid) past the stands on the pits side there was about a 2' long vapor trail that came off the back of the wing.

The kid was flying and was running the top of track right on the cushion.

It was a good night of racing, just wish more people could have made it but I think that some people might have thought that they would be rained out.

They will be back in town in September so come out and fill the stands or one better come into the pits a visit with the drivers.

Who would have guessed 12 & 2 would have been there. 3 chevy in top 15, and 3 fords top 15, who would ever guess that?
