Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte just broke the 400m IM world record.

Phelps-4:05.25

Lochte-4:06.08

Ivory Williams finished 5th in his semifinal and didnt qualify for the finals.

Tyson Gay ran a 9.68 and won the 100m. It wasn't a world record because the wind reading was a 4.1.

That was a great race by Gay.  Would have liked to see Williams at least in the finals, i was very surprised when I didn't see his name come up.  Those guys in the 100 m were running some fast times!!
