Dayton's departure

I am sad to see Dayton leave our district. I know some may disagree but I think a district full of good teams are more prepared for the deep runs into the playoffs. In the late 1990's and early 2000's we had some really good teams make deep runs including the two championship apperances (PNG) & (WOS) and a semifinal appearance with (Nederland) all of which came out of one of the two or three toughest districts in the state. Goodluck Dayton we will see you in the playoffs. Once again congrats on a fine season.

I will miss the big crowds and fans. There are only about 2 teams in this other district with a fan base. Crosby and BH and I would imagine the 2 new schools(Kingwood Park and Goose Creek Memorial) will do better than those East Houston schools.
