Hero dad who took down Oregon school shooter identified

[thetragichippy]

The more I read about this incident it blows my mind the bravery of these bystanders and teacher.

A witness driving by saw the shooter jump over the fence and he confronted him - shooter fired shots into his vehicle. That was equally as brave as it was stupid.....You can't notify 911 if you're dead. Luckily he was not injured and made the first 911 call.

The hero of this story seen the interaction with the vehicle and drove into the parking lot, grabbed his 40 caliber and ran to where he heard shots. A female teacher threw her phone at him and started wrestling him and dude came in and put down the shooter.

I'm not going to lie, I would be scared to death to walk into a school with a gun and be mistaken for "the shooter" - that was a brave dude on several levels.
