Ethan Franklin, a 12-year-old from Chester, was the winning pitcher for the Panola County All-Stars in the championship game against Atlanta in Carthage last weekend. The score was 11-1.

Ethan was recently diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes. His father, Tracy Franklin, is the athletic director at Chester Independent School District

Yes that is the same Tracy Franklin. His son is coming back to play select ball with a group of kids from buna and evadale this fall and next spring after the world series
