Gordon, Johnson fail qualifying inspection

SONOMA, Calif. -- Nextel Cup Series points leader Jeff Gordon and defending series champion Jimmie Johnson, both of the Hendrick Motorsports stable, have failed inspection at Infineon Raceway.

The cars of neither Gordon, the defending race champion, nor Johnson will be allowed to practice or qualify Friday.

NASCAR spokesman Ramsey Poston said both cars "failed the initial inspection ... as a result of body modifications found to be outside NASCAR tolerances. The front fender [of both cars] was modified outside of NASCAR regulations. They did not meet the C2 template inspection."

ok i went a lil over the edge on the fag thing. but no i dont like him! and yes he does have a hot wife! very hot. and i like every1 else on hendrick motorsports. jimmie johnson is my 2nd favorite driver behind jr. and even though i dont like jeff gordon that will b one heck of a race team next year! with gordon, johnson, and jr! ill even go out on a limb and say that imo they will finsh 1,2,3 in the cup race next year, but idk which driver will b in what spot.

Good post....I was just kidding around with you and having some fun.  I do agree with your assessment on the 2008 season.

It will be interesting to see how Jr. and Jeff perform as teammates.  I personally think they will be push each other along with Jimmie to become better racers and dominate the series.
