those chances ended last weekend getting swept by Texas, and if they didnt then losing their first game in thr tournament pretty well seals it unless they were to come back and win it thru the loser bracket

Ags capitalize on a UT error and small ball in a run in the bottom of the first without a hit.  1-0 A&M....bottom 2.

I don't know if that saved there hosting chances or not.  Playing there way into the Big XII Championship game might.  If they host, logic pairs them with the Rice Regional, which should make things very interesting if both get out of the first weekend.

A&M beat KState 7-2 and now needs Texas to beat Nebraska to advance.

Texas beats Nebraska 5-4.

So, A&M advances to the championship game and will play the winner of Oklahoma-Baylor.

the Baylor-OU game finally ended (1 a.m.) with the Bears beating the Sooners 7-6.

The Big XII Championship game is set.

Baylor v. Texas A&M, 1 p.m. on FSN.

The conference wanted to set it up so that each team that made it to the Big XII tourney was guaranteed of three games.  That way there would be a set schedule and the teams and fans could plan ahead.

I really like this format, it gives everyone a fair chance. Just for fun this would've been the SLC with this format
