The 13u Premier Gladiators will hold tryouts for the 2015 fall and 2016 spring seasons Monday August 10th 6:00 at Marauder Park. Kids need to show up early enough to stretch and be ready to start at 6:00. If needed there will be a 2nd tryout held on August 17th, same time and place. We will post whether or not the 2nd tryout will be needed. This is a competitive team that took 3rd place out of 104 teams at the Cooperstown Dreams Park National Championships, in Cooperstown New York 1 week ago.  To be eligible for this team, kids must not turn 14 before May 1, 2016.  This team will be taken over by coach Jeff Moye this season.  A little background on Jeff, he played college baseball at Seminole Junior College before signing with the Texas Rangers.  Jeff has been a coach with the Gladiators since 2010. In 2012 he started an 11u premier team.  He has been with that team the last 4 seasons, and coached them to 167-64 record during the fall and spring seasons at the premier level, while winning multiple tournaments along the way including winning Cooperstown their 12u year. Last season his team went 53-9!  If you have any questions about this tryout, email coach Jeff at [email protected]

    • Let’s see if joe biden’s words about no one is above the law, made after the rigged trial of President Trump, rings true with his po💩son.  Hopefully, but I’m not going to hold my breath, they put the sorry sob in prison.
    • I liked his no bull crap attitude. He was a man of very few words. Extremely strong and freaky athletic!!! As close as possible to being the best offensive lineman to ever play the game. I hope his family finds peace without him!!! RIP #73
    • Chester, a small town in NE Tyler County.  A town that is seeing growth with the addition of a national chain store and a new school being built.  If you travel 287 toward Dallas from the Golden Triangle you have probably passed through Chester.  Things tend to stay pretty consistent and it is your typical small town.   A trip to state is the buzz around town, and the talk before church services begin on Sunday.  This year’s graduating class will number 11.  We don’t have a radio station that covers the Yellowjackets.  We are never a lead story on any of the news stations that broadcast to our community. With all that said, there is a closeness and sense of pride in our community.  Every community rallies behind their kids as they progress into the playoffs.  We are proud of our boys as they have represented our community well and with class. We invite you to follow our boys as they go to state.  We welcome the greater SETX communities as honorary Yellowjackets.  Tune in, watch live or come to Round Rock personally and join us in supporting the Chester Yellowjackets.  Go ‘Jackets!!! ⚾️💜💛⚾️🟣🟡⚾️💜💛⚾️
