Blast Wins Midnight Madness / Longview

[Guest Team Blast]

The 2 Beaumont Blast 18U teams, Blast Gold / Blanda and Blast Silver / Odom, traveled to Longview to compete in the 7th annual Midnight Madness Tournament.  The 2 teams competed against each other in the winners bracket en route to the championship game.  Blast Silver was able to squeeze out a 1-0 victory over Blast Gold in a very tough defensive battle with Taylor Odom on the mound and Morgan Brooks behind the plate.  Blast Silver only sustained 13 strike outs for the entire tournament and advanced to the championship game undefeated, where they were able to overcome Team Havoc in a 4-2 win.  Congratulations to the Blast organization for producing some very competitive teams in an attempt to advance these young ladies to the collegiate level.
