Texas Ranger Area Code 2013 tryouts

;D 3 of four locals invited to tryout for the Texas Ranger Area Code team in Houston were asked to stay yesterday afternoon for the second round. Players should find out today who made the team.  Team members will have the opportunity to play in Long Beach, CA., in August with national exposure to many major league scouts.  Good Luck, guys.

The Beaumont Enterprise's article only referred to four young men from Hardin and Orange County.  I was referring to them.  If you have someone else, feel free to give them my congrats on their accolades as well.

Heard he went to falls city, which would make him south central Texas..... Congratulations to a good ball player none the less.

I stand corrected.... yes, he is a South Central Texas kid now. That is gonna take some getting used to saying.
