Just totally frustrated that a team that should make the playoffs every year when 4 teams go is playing like they are an HISD school

To me it is totally embarrassing that the Bulldogs are this bad

I suppose you are right, I shouldn’t get on their case, because they are not going to get any better this year

They need a outsider ( way outsider ) to run the program!! Like png !!

It might be me, but you seem to relish in trashing Nederland.

Is it personal for you? I mean, aren't you a Lumberton guy?

I agree I always notice that you are constantly after Nederland. AS an Indian fan Its hard for me to understand why you never have a positive thing to say about a bunch of 15-18 year old kiddos. I often wonder myself why you have such a disdain for the Dogs.

Yes, because this is a "positive reinforcement zone". Any negative comment is personal and an attack on "kiddos".

FYI, there is nothing "positive" to say about Nederland. They are a "dumpster fire". This forum is for the participants in the forum to freely comment. The "kiddos" can go read Dr Seuss if the forum hurts their feelings. You should walk down a high school hallway one day and see how the "kiddos" speak to each other. I doubt any of them are crying about what someone said in SETX.

My point is that's ALL he comments on here. I understand that Nederland is having a down year, but constantly bashing them gets old. I'm not advocating that he always post "rainbows and sunshine" but lighten up a bit. Just seems personal, bitter with always an axe to grind.

I agree, the forum is free to comment (within the forum rules) but it doesn't have to ALWAYS be negative. I just noticed that this guy seems to enjoy trashing Nederland. Did it last year when Nederland had a better season. That's all I am saying.

Nederland wins in a close one.

It's a toss-up on paper but I'm going with Nederland. Santa Fe scored 27 against Dayton, but Nederland did well against PAM for at least a half, so there's that. Still, past performance does not guarantee future results, whether it be stocks or HS football.

SF scored twice during garbage time with our backups in. Big Ned can win if they  cut way down on turn overs and  with better execution.

And Ned did not, under the same circumstances presumably. But anyway, I would expect a close game, if no turnovers, etc, and I'm pulling for the bulldogs.

    • Wrong again. This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up   The day that Trump took office, our nation debt stood at 19.9 Trillion dollars (End of Q4, 2016).  After his tax cuts (without corresponding cuts in spending), the national debt stood at 23.2 Trillion dollars at the end of Q1 of 2020 that was the Start of COVID, FYI... Or a total increase in debt of almost 17% during Trump's first three years (and one quarter) in office.  At the end of his reign (with COVID spending for which Trump himself signed off on) was at 27.7 Trillion Dollars.  That's a 39% increase in the National Debt while Trump was in office.  For further reference, Biden inherited a 27.7 Trillion dollar debt to start.  At the end of Q4 2023, the debt stands at 34 Trillion.  That's an increase of 19% over the first three years. I know that math and facts hurt your feelings, but Trump was horrible for the country before he allowed "them Dirty Democrats to shut down the economy."  Anybody that says "Trump was good for the country" doesn't know the first thing about micro/macro economics or the effects of deficit spending.  Trump hurt us like no other president, period.  Anybody that says "Trump was good for the economy" is actually stating for the rest of us with some sense "I don't know what I'm talking about."
    • But of course you wouldn’t understand the saying. You’re so clever. Your education precedes you.
    • Hmmmm..... Didn't they just win a football state championship?
    • The fact that you try to bolster your assertion that Trump was a bad president by using "facts" that are not attributable to him is disinformation at it's worse. It is "lying by omission", which is just another way to say big ol' fat lie. Unemployment was going down to record lows before Covid hit. You and I and almost everyone on Earth knows this, but somehow you try to spin this stat as a knock on Trump. Same for the stock market. LYING BY OMISSION. A tactic almost as old as prostitution. The debt and spending exploding due to Trump is just an old fashioned bald face lie. You seem to follow the mantra "if you tell a lie enough times it becomes fact." You are starting to resemble Biden now. Do you have any other whoppers to share?
    • Intentionally keeping top secret documents haphazardly around the house comes to mind.  A lot of what came out of his mouth, torpedoing the political careers of republicans who didn’t fall in line?  I don’t know that he all of a sudden became a beacon of moral light and goodness just because he got into office. Again, we’re not talking about policy, but what kind of person he is.  If anything he seemed to get worse once he was in power as far as I could see.
