You know there was team called Lamarque that had the same type of success. Their coaching staff retired and left but now there just a shell of a team. It will be the same story as WOS mustangs. They were a great program.

WOS beat a team filled with Sophmores, especially on defense.

They were young last year and it showed in the 4th qtr losses. They are not the same players WOS beat last year.

Now you are witnessing the growth and they are juniors.  Look out.

Just need to admit it was a bad hire. You don't go from the team you had last year, return a good portion of players and then take a BIG step in the wrong direction. All he had to do was keep what was in place and coach his tail off. He didn't have to change ANYTHING in that program!

IMO the coaches at WOS are under a lot of pressure to win, strong tradition and without our best coach in team history. He retired on his own. Man that's a lot of pressure for the whole system. We can still  place in district and make the playoffs. What does not help the players is not supporting their coaches. "We are better than this"

That is a COMPLETELY different team with CT. Returning 8/8...no way that game goes that way. To be honest CT is probably somewhere laughing his "you know what" off. It would've been a WAY more physical D...and they would know where to be, not confused. 50 years of experience will do that. I wouldn't put too much stock in that win...WOS isn't that good because they are obviously poorly coached. NO program takes a nose dive like this due to personnel, it's usually bad coaching and preparation.

Is it true during the PNG game WOS defenders were running into each other...confused?

And most of those numbers were all district last year. With the potential to be all state with a trip to Dallas being predicted. And that would've help them tremendously with recruitment and scholarships.

Yes it does. The offense is the problem. I saw some plays that did not go as planned. The defense got tired in secondary. Dj. Silsbee has some big play makers, I see them going far this year. We need to take one game at a time and improve ever week. I saw improvement last night even though we lost.

Our kids were yung too. And don't forget w.o changed QBS TWICE last year.bf keyshon took over.even last year Brisbane was better than what we had at the time.the difference is 4/2/5. Doesn't work when u change systems like that.and as great as Miller is.shaw took him away last year the second half.i guess Miller took it out on everyone this year.but also they had pressure on the qb.this year hey it is what it is.dont have the personal to run this.the kids are trying.w.o one advantage is bringing pressure off  edge and contain wide is gone.some changes aren't gud.i wanna see the coaches succeed each one of them.but, some coaches don't fit some teams.that why coaching changes are made.silsbee has a better coaching staff.

Ik Silsbee is going far. Them and w.o will play again. The kids are trying hard in games!! I've watched practice.and it's the same way I'm telling u.first off the qb will get better as the season goes on.but, teams will continue to load the box and take away the run. The o/C would see this from the pressbox.but wants to be on the sideline calling plays.it has happened 3 weeks in a row.ik there trying to learn his system.but it's hard when u been running something different.and on defense our kids made alot of mistakes last year on defense.but they got away with alot bcz the pressure we had on opposing qbs.this year we have no pressure in no games.that doesn't mean they aren't trying.just can't do it in this defense.and ur lbs are still learning.and to make matters worse how often do u see our Dbs breaking on the ball.they don't!! Like a deer in headlights.and then try to tackle.even lastnite if #4 could find the ball at safety he could had a couple picks.but without pressure and without shaw that secondary will get exposed against althetes.so,think abt how many ints they have.shaw has 2. And the rest of team abt 1.every team doesn't haven't great ball skills. But.,that's where the coaching comes in. U have to teach them.

    • There is a difference, but I wouldn't at all put it past Trump to do so if he had the infrastructure in place to get away with it like the Dems currently do.  With the amount of effort he's invested in ruining those republicans who've opposed him, it wouldn't surprise me one bit.
    • I think it will be an interesting case and could potentially come up for appeal on a different constitutional point.  The Supreme Court has ruled in the past that the government doesn’t have to take possession of property in order to take it under the meaning of the Fifth Amendment.  If they take away the enjoyment or use of the property, it is no different than physically seizing it to build a highway for example. In a lawsuit as opposed to a criminal trial, a person/plaintiff doesn’t have to prove something beyond a reasonable doubt but rather by a preponderance of evidence or “more likely” to have happened. Maybe it could be described as more likely yes than no or 51%-49%.  ”IF” it can be shown at a trial by a preponderance of evidence that Texas more likely yes than no caused the flooding with its engineering of the project, the people suing might have a case. But…. Does that alone win the case under the Fifth Amendment taking clause? I am not so sure. In US v Causby the Supreme Court ruled that the US government took a man’s property by flying airplanes over it. It was a public airport lawfully leased by the US in WWII and used to fly heavy bombers from it. Causby had an egg farm and the extremely loud noise of some airplanes under full power and sometimes at night with a landing lights being so close, it bothered and scared the family and damaged his egg farm production. Some chickens died and some quit laying eggs due to the extreme disturbances and lights at night. The Supreme Court ruled in Causby’s favor saying that the US had taken away the enjoyment and use of his land even though they didn’t physically seize it. The use of the land was hampered and that was enough for the taking clause under the Fifth Amendment. So in the IH-10 case, did Texas take away the use or enjoyment of the property?  A point of Causby was that the military bombers at a public airport was certainly for “public use”. The planes were public/taxpayers’ and the airport and lease were taxpayers’ property so the “public” definitely used it   My question in this lawsuit against Texas, even in they can prove the damage, was the damage (like in Causby) for “public use”? If not would it then not be a Fifth Amendment case but rather a state law case?  If Texas law denies such a lawsuit under state sovereignty and the families can’t prove a Fifth Amendment case of “public use”, could they prove the damages but still lose the case under state law? I haven’t read that anywhere and just thinking out loud. I could be way off base. But I think it could be interesting…..
    • Both sides...that is, everyone tries to get their people elected. Trump has not weaponized the government to bankrupt and imprison his political opponents. Night and day difference for me.
    • Surely you're aware of the great lengths Trump has gone to disrupt the elections and destroy the careers of republican politicians who haven't supported some of his most outlandish claims, or dared to question him or disagree with him about January 6.  You and I actually agree on this issue, although it must only go one way for you, because Trump's actions against republicans who didn't fall into lockstep with him is one of my biggest concerns about reelecting him.  The fact that he took action to affect literally hundreds of republican primaries from national elections down to municipal levels across the country, is concerning. It would've been one thing had he done it in an effort to help republicans win. Instead his purpose was to push out his perceived detractors and install MAGA politicians at every level of government in as many places as possible, and has resulted in a fractured republican party.
