From the article:

I'm a mom, a coach and a Team USA World Masters track athlete who is fighting for something greater than another gold medal: I’m standing for the protection of women’s sports.

If male-bodied athletes continue competing on female teams, it will be the end of women’s sports. This is no exaggeration; this is reality, and it’s happening right now.

I see no reason for a man to go to compete in a woman’s  sport.

If a man wants to call himself a woman, great. If he wants to dress feminine and put on make up, awesome. if it does not negatively affect another person, do what you wish with your own life.

I mean we don’t have high school football teams playing Sunday  against an NFL team. Yes it is all male athletes who are voluntarily playing a sport but what is the point? Maybe pick one team out of the NFL with the worst record for the last decade to play nothing but high school teams but everyone else plays a regular schedule. So 10 years from now we can see the Detroit Lions are 170-0 and set an NFL record that will never be broken!!!!

Detroit was such a great team!!!

That is essentially what they are doing by allowing men to compete against women. I don’t care what kind of hormonal treatment they are on at the time. That would be like Arnold Schwarzenegger in the prime of his career start taking estrogen shots to lower his testosterone. Sure, but the muscle mass is already there.

Wokeness is a mental disease.

I agree

Isn't it amazing how we can have a distracting conversation and overwhelming concern about .8% of the population?  That's when you know that sheeple are being led to slaughter.

I don’t see a problem with being concerned with about 1% of the population. I compare that to never knowing a person who has died of the flu in my 66 years but have at least 10 friends or close acquaintances that have died of Covid.

It is not nearly as significant as about 5% as was originally talked about two years ago when Covid was first discovered.   That would tend to be horrific.

Concern is only one thing however. The claimed two week lockdown to lower the curve, the not treating people until they were critically ill, the complete shutting down of businesses, schools and churches is a common completely different issue.

That part now appears to be more political than medical. . Simply look at what is going on in Canada as evidence of what happens when a politician draws a line in the sand but is wrong. Being a politician he/she seems incapable of backing down and simply saying, I was wrong and retract my orders. NOPE, if you challenge me we are going to double down and punish you.

You will fall in line or else!!!

To put it short, I understand having concern. The political response does not justify the outcome however.

Hey penn he s a man that has mental issues and should be admitted not awarded or celebrated.

sicko PERIOD

From the article...

Riley Gaines, a swimmer at the University of Kentucky who tied with Lia Thomas for fifth place at the NCAA swimming championships, said that a majority of females aren't okay with the trajectory of female sports.

"The majority of us female athletes, or females in general, really, are not okay with this, and they're not okay with the trajectory of this and how this is going and how it could end up in a few years," Gaines said on the "Unmuted with Marsha" podcast with Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn.

She was referring to the NCAA's refusal to change the rules in order to protect competitiveness in female sports.

It is both comical and sad.

Wasn’t it Miss Utah a few months ago where a man won and now the potential woman athlete of the year is a man?

This is how far the woke stupidity has gone. Now in the name of equality, the woman winning a beauty pageant is a man and the best woman athlete is a man.

That is their version of equality?

The even more insane part is, having chosen a side, in this case the leftist Democrats, many people simply cannot change. They might be completely against what is happening but they must support the team and will blindly ignore what they know is true. My granddaddy voted Democrat and my great grandfather voted Democrat and my union tells me to vote Democrat and my minority organization tells me to vote Democrat so I suppose that I have to vote Democrat.

Are there Democrats that are staunchly pro-Second Amendment followers? Certainly.

Are there Democrats who think this male becoming a female and in direct competition with females is terribly wrong? Oh yeah.

Are there Democrats that believe that defunding the police or paying higher taxes, etc., etc., is wrong? You know it.

Are there Democrats who believe basically all of the above? Absolutely!!!

So what option will they pull/push/select the next time they go in the booth? Democrat of course, that’s their party.

I saw this earlier.  I'm all for people being whoever they want as long as it doesn't affect other people.  When a man wants to be a female athlete, it affects many females.  I'm glad there are people who are willing to step up and speak out against this.
