5ADII PN-G beat 6A Beaumont United 49-0 and 45-14 in 2022 and 2023. 4ADII WO-S played the eventual 5ADII state champion Indians to overtime in 2023. If it all boils down to just attendance numbers, explain those facts to me.

Poster I guess forgot about 2022 Port Arthur Memorial as well. (3rd round lost was to Longview who won Region 2). And last year that 1st round game was against Forney who won Region 2 as well. 

To your point, it’s worth noting that the 50-15 loss was PN-G’s first game under a new coach. I think most PN-G fans would agree that the 2022 Indians didn’t fully settle into Joseph’s system until late in the regular season.

PNG lost 50-15, not 64-3 in 2022. I'm not sure you can compare where a team is in for a Week 1 non-district game to when the dust settles in the playoffs. Some teams improve dramatically, while other take steps back. When it comes down to it, non-district results don't factor much into what a season is turns into. By that logic you could say PNG could stay in a game with 6A-DI champ Duncanville because Duncanville only beat SOC 23-10 in Week 1. I think we all agree Duncanville is on another level. 

Michael Lorenzen made his RANGERS debut Monday vs Detroit and pitched 5 scoreless innings.  
Jack Leiter is getting called up and will make his MLB debut Thursday.

FYI, Tigee Rideaux was just hired by Conroe HS to be their next head coach.

If those 2 keep winning, they may need to reconfigure Kyle Field for the final series.  Seriously, that will be one tough ticket and the 3 largest attended games at Blue Bell may just be all from 1 series. 

Will Wade has his baggage. With that said Wade is a winner and looks set to return to McNeese for another season. Wade has just accumulated more transfers going to McNeese. They are going to be crazy good in Wades year 2.    

Preface, I am a FOOTBALL COACH.
There are numerous advantages to having an Athletic Director ONLY position. The AD is an Administrator and overseeing every Athletic program is a daunting task, It is a full-time job, if done right.
However, Football is a different animal, it is light years different from any other sport. The sheer number of coaches necessary to be competitive as well as the large number of participants makes it different than any other sport. If you have never coached football, then it is going to be very difficult to understand what goes into having a successful program. Having an AD that does not understand the inner workings of what it takes to win in football is NOT a recipe for success.

Understood, FBM "donkey stomped" Nederland this year by "2 points". Would hate for Nederland to continue getting beat like that with no hope for the win.

And Nederland has beat teams from bigger schools plenty in the past, including PNG.   .  What was the excuse all those years Neumann sent them home packing?  They had a bigger enrollment then.   I wouldn't count on school size dictating the size of the fight in the Dog.  😈
