My experience with central heights stems back about ten years, but they have the most classless fans I’ve ever seen(and I’m from buna where it ain’t much better 😂)

If you were at the games this weekend and didn’t see anything classless then you yourself may be. There are no hard feelings from Orangefield from losing. CH is without a doubt the better team after watching the 2 games. If you need a description of classlessness, taunting the other team, mocking and degrading them, anything other than yelling to root for your team is uncalled for. Orangefield yelled all season FOR their kids, but never once yelled at opposing players. We have knocked other teams pitchers off them mound and we clapped them all the way to their dugout. Which is just decent and having good sportsmanship. CH would yell degrading things at the opposing pitchers as they were leaving the mound. This happened Thursday and today from CH spectators, from CH players and even some questionable things from the coaching staff. Winning with class would be kicking our butts, which they did, without taunting, mocking or anything else. That without a doubt did not happen. Regardless of what you have “seen” from them.

Hahah. You must be from CH or pulling for them, but from what I heard was classless. Just my opinion on it.

Won 11. Played in 13. The two we have lost were by a single point each. In '74 we went for a 2 point conversion and the win, didn't get it. In '17 we missed two xpts.

Brittney Griner’s official return to the floor baffles her head coach because it was not a sellout. I didn’t bring this up about Griner. My point is that the WNBA loses millions of dollars a year as it is not popular. It only as a subsidiary of the NBA. If it was a regular business or even a professional sports league that lost millions each year, it would have long since folded. It is about the equivalent of a high school JV football team. At least JV has a purpose. Griner who is obviously a star in the WNBA regardless of her political stance…. but, her coach apparently believed that because she was arrested and in Russia, fans would pack the arena to see her “return”. Part of the coach’s after game comment was, “How was it not a sellout?”. (In the link posted below) That is the out of touch part. I am thinking….. go woke, go broke. The WNBA isn’t losing money because of any agenda. It is losing millions of dollars because it just is not exciting to 99.5% of the public. It is probably subsidized by the NBA just to say there is a women’s league. With that knowledge, the coach thought there should have been an outpouring of support for Griner however. Uhhhhh…….. no. This wasn’t just a crime committed against Trump, but against the people of the United States. They waged war upon our chosen leader, hamstrung our republic, and attempted to destroy the constitution of this nation. The seriousness of this offense cannot be overstated.

Nice to see a Democrat that disagrees with Trump but can see the Big Picture of how dangerous our weaponized FBI, CIA, and DOJ have become.

Silsbee’s defense wasn’t THAT good, ever. They’ll be decent and the offense will be tough. So many of those kids have playoff experience, etc. Experience against good teams in the playoffs is a huge help. It’s what fueled so much of WOS’s success 10 years ago

It’s a fun district to watch. Got some solid teams that make for some games that fans can really get excited about during the week. Think about WOS vs Jasper , WOS vs Silsbee , WOS vs HF, Silsbee vs Jasper….and there are more. These are games that fans look forward to and can talk about. I know it wasn’t great for WOS last year, but I look at them as a sleeping giant. You drive by that place and see that historic stadium where they have “crushed” teams for decades. They will be back.

Yeah heard it from a reliable source who would not complain otherwise. I doubt his “feelings were hurt.”

Oddly enough. I'd have to say, you are correct sir. The really scary part is that if we take steps in the right direction. We could be really dangerous on both sides of the ball. Dont forget those Sophomore 1st teamers will be seniors now. They weren't resting on their laurels in the off season.

I don’t doubt that they aren’t good… but they did lose to Carthage and Spring Hill this tear who are both region 3 teams.

My experience with CH is exact opposite. I have seen nothing from them other than class. Feelings could be hurt from the stomping.

Oh. So. Close. to knocking off the #1 undefeated team in the State. BH poised for a lot of success in the next few years. Going to miss a few key seniors though, but they exit wearing State Champion bling from 21! Thank you girls for a great season!!

Him and Jackie Robinson were two of the best all around athletes to ever walk this Earth. I was reading up on the lacrosse thing and apparently by some he was better at lacrosse than football. And with Robinson he was a better football player than baseball. That's crazy. 😳

I have always said just send 2, but I'm old school that way. But, if you are going to send 4 teams, make sure every district has a minimum 7 teams in it. I don't like 4 teams going out of 4, 5 and even 6 team districts. Also, every #1 seed (district champ) should host a 1st round playoff game. Another incentive to win district.

As an outside Jasper fan for all but 1 game of the season. I expect more improvement than last year. Got a solid base established and plenty of time to coach up the kids in the off season. Gonna be another classic rivalry game down here on Oct 20.

Silsbee went 1-2 in pool play and failed to advance to qualifying round.
