The thing that annoys me is that people on the left 100% believe that they are all victims of “systemic racism” while being unable to point at a single policy that puts them at a disadvantage because of their race in 2020. “Jim Crow, slavery, Tulsa, and redlining!” they all yell, but can point at nothing but results (“there are more blacks in prison for murder”) as proof of racism, when the result is actually a result of poor choices, not racism, arguably. We can, however, point at policy after policy that actually do exist in 2022 that put whites at a disadvantage because of THEIR race…. Not opinions, not long-gone policies, not just “results” passed off as proof of wrong… actual policies. Everything from discrimination in the hiring process under the guise of “promoting diversity” to special consideration in the college admissions process, academic scholarships exclusively for minority beneficiaries, to taxes aimed solely at white people (the excise tax on tanning booth fees), to being protected in the workplace by EEOC regulations, to white people being punished more harshly when committing the same crimes (“hate crime” legislation) to being given preference in stupid reality tv contests (cbs announcing that they will feature 50% minority contestants on their programs) to the current President announcing that he would be choosing a black woman as his running mate… even if she is woefully and obviously under qualified… Black people have far more advantages in America in 2022, yet some will sit in their big houses, boast about their education and that of their kids, and believe that they are still a victim of the system.

I ought to ban you for even bringing up his name 85, lol. Anyway, back on topic and lets keep the coach bashing to a minimum please.

Anti-Kari Lake partisans shut down machines on election day in GOP areas. Didn’t count ballots at voting centers as req’d by law. Took over a week to count. No chain of custody docs as req’d by law. And this gets dismissed?! Maricopa County isn’t a banana republic - it’s worse. Will the judicial system weigh the evidence fairly? Or will judges run from the fight, because the entire debacle is just too damn messy for a polite society? Arizona law is clear: even inadvertent errors in election require setting aside result if it casts outcome in doubt. Intentionality is NOT required when the error casts actual winner "in doubt." There is definitely an appeal on the way.

Jim Crow laws also kept blacks from making progress, my mom and dad had to sit in the back of the bus. Predatory lending, segregation, inequality in schools, discriminatory housing practices also play at part. There was a case in which black people owned beach front property in California, it was forcibly taken my white people, and became a popular resort. Their descendants sought legal action in order to regain the property, and they were successful. A black couple were selling their house, and it was appraised for a amount that they thought was too low. They had a white friend pretend like it was his property and the appraised value went up exponentially. Racism is real..

Absolutely no. AT&T is heads and above the best stadium to hold the state championship. Houston traffic sucks. San Antonio traffic and stadium sucks. Austin, who the heck wants to drive into that woke California invested piece of crap. Every kid in Texas wants to play in Cowboys Stadium with the big screen.

locker rooms are an issue in San Antonio too

The locker rooms were an issue last time at NRG. 2 main locker rooms split by a partition with teams having to move at halftime. Only one side had a bathroom & showers. Kids changing in the tunnels etc JerryWorld is built for this.

Having coached there 3x with a bunch of kids from Houston I would say this would be the furthest from the truth…

Kids would prefer AT&T and it’s not even close…

NRG is terrible for most of the state. Long haul for a lot of schools to bring their kids. I'm not opposed to rotating it, but I think a venue so far to one side of the state is not a good fit for it.

Nrg is not in a good location as far being close to being centralized would prolly have to be at&t or San Antonio. Basically all the big cities centralized east to west host a uil sport with San Antonio doing basketball and Austin doing baseball

They tried this already in 2015 at NRG…attendance was down it’ll never be anywhere else other than Jerry’s World the UIL is in the business of making money and the most is made at Jerry’s world
