Trust me, I get it. I've been around Tarkington most of my life and I understand when it comes to football, we tend to be the whipping boys. The good years certainly don't outweigh the bad. That being said, I've seen that guy use Tarkington for every sort of pin cushion that you can imagine just in the past 6 months. It's just funny that, that was the example he used after he used the Tarkington head football coach post as his platform to unload his insults and "anger" on Tarkington sports, parents and athletes.

We can’t rule out that a person posting in this thread is not a child molester…… It reminds me of the Mueller report on Trump collusion with Russia. We cannot rule out the Trump was illegally involved with Russia, we just can’t find any evidence to prove it. I guess with the rationale of some people reading this forum, everybody is guilty of everything until it can be proven otherwise.

I agree. Only reason I have LCM 4th is because the loss of Landry at QB. Kid was a heckuva athlete and difficult to replace, much like the Pirates NG on Defense.

Don’t do it Aggie. Years ago I watched a game when W Sabine played H Island. WS was trailing by 3 points with time running out, WS running back broke into the clear and was running uncontested to the end zone but the mosquitos drug him down on the ten yard line. W S lost.

I kind of thought so too but for example, who out of 7-9 would you for sure out in front of us? You knew Consol. was going to be good because they had a freshman QB and sophomore RBs when we played them last year but they also lost some of those huge trench guys that gave us issues. Results are a direct product of your play so you can’t say there should’ve been an alternative outcome in the Manvel game but you’re probably one of the ones that walked out of Randal Reed thinking “There’s not a lot of daylight between these two teams, if any?”. They lost both RBs and a bunch of Power 5 kids on defense. Not too many years ago we used to complain about be disrespected and overlooked, for better or worse I think we’re getting the benefit of the doubt now.

I think when you get past the top 3 in 5A-D1 there are questions all over the place....

From what I'm hearing it's all in.

1. NIL really only benefits power 5 athletes. 2. Capping NIL endorsements levels the playing field for student athletes in non-power 5 conferences. OR have levels of capping. Incoming freshman can make x- amount, sophomores can make a little more, etc... 3. Financial responsibility. Some of the kids that will make the big NIL deals aren't like an Arch Manning who comes from money. They need guidance, their families need guidance. All too often you hear of athletes that made millions during their playing careers that end up broke once their career on the field is over. 4. Agents / Marketing Firms... IF hired by a student athlete or by family do they have the player/s in his or her best interest OR are they just looking for a paycheck? Again, I'm all for students athletes being able to make money off their abilities I just think it should be limited till or if they turn pro. The above is my less than 2 cents and everyone will have different ideas and thoughts.

The question is not only is it legal, the other question is why they are leaving!

I've not seen Jasper play, If Jasper looks like WO-S then no. I mean the reason you play the game is because there is a chance. Porter beat us last year and we still won the District so one game doth not define a season. I mean it definitely would dampen the spirits a bit for sure.
