  2. If cell phone geotracking can be reliably used by the Biden DOJ to establish if a January 6 defendant was inside or outside the door of the Capitol, why can’t it be reliably used to establish if mules were within a few feet of 10 or more ballot dropboxes? #2000Mules

  5. The article that I read (maybe Beaumont Enterprise?) said it had a concession stand, restrooms and a dressing room. I’m assuming the dressing room has some type of locker room and maybe even showers but the article did not exactly say. But yes, it was not like a typical small stand-alone building to serve chips and drinks.

  6. An average of 350 people are killed with rifles of any type each year. That is not bad shooting, it is all rifle homicides. There are about 9,000 gun murders each year. If you could remove every single rifle from every single person‘s hand in the United States, you were at the most take away 4% of the murders. That is only assuming that the person simply won’t go to a shotgun or handgun. You know that is BS because if a person can’t get his hand on a rifle, he would just go to another firearm. I can only think of one school shooting with a rifle had anything to do with it what really made a difference. That was an 11-year-old and a 13-year-old in Arkansas about 30 years ago where they stayed away from the school and pulled the fire alarm and shot people as they came out from long range. Just like the Luby‘s in Killeen, Texas and the Virginia Tech shooter, it was all handguns. They are actually easier to conceal, much easier to carry large quantities of ammo and up close where most of the shootings happen, just as deadly and usually faster. To put it in a nutshell, this is an attempt to band raffles when rifles are not the problem. Had this shooter going into the same classroom in Uvalde with a 9 mm handgun, he could have killed just as many children, just as fast. What will restricting AR15‘s due to that? Absolutely nothing. Klebold and Harris went into Columbine HS in the first well known HS mass shooting and they were under age to buy handguns yet they had handguns. How could that be, it wasn’t legal??? Anyone that cannot see this as getting a foot in the door to try to get guns away from private citizens, is not paying much attention. I guess this is the reality or logic in some people’s minds. I kid has severe mental problems and says I’m going to go shoot up a school. He finds out that he cannot get his hands on a rifle but he can get his hands on a pistol. He then gives up on his plans because he does not want to kill 30 children with a handgun.

  9. I agree we need to do something for our schools, but something that will work, not something that will give us a false sense of accomplishment. 7 of 10 school shootings the shooters have been under 18, and obviously didn’t purchase the guns legally. It goes back to TVC and his point about removing semi-auto rifles only affecting 2% (from memory I may be off a little) of gun deaths. To me, arming teachers and improving school security is the most logical and effective answer.

  14. That is a totally different scenario and one I would accept as ok. Every man who has gotten into an argument with a female/wife has had a passing thought of hitting her. A real man tells himself to walk away. I think you can see my point and the difference.

  15. And once again, the Liberal voters remain uninformed if they don’t watch any conservative news outlets. You can have numerous doctorates from educational institutions. A Mensa IQ off the charts, but as a voter your ignorant if you only watch Leftist News Outlets. Btw, I do watch CBS News every evening. I also watch FOX. Can’t remember seeing a significant News story on CBS that I hadn’t seen on FOX. Sure, it may be slanted some, but still it’s covered. The Leftist Media keeps Liberal voters uninformed through omission. If they do cover it, it’s slanted (aren’t they all) but often, they just refuse to mention it. So when you see a poll and wonder, how could they still be voting Democrat?, it’s because they have no idea what’s going on in DC.

  16. School or government projects are always overpriced. You've got to leave some $$$$ for squandering, if there wasn't enough money to squander then there would be no motivation to push for approval of such projects by the squanderers.

  22. I feel so bad for that young man. He fought the sun all game in right field and flat out dropped a routine fly ball to send Diboll into the Championship. Diboll also left 10 runners stranded after loading the bases in the 1,2,and 3 innings. Brock had 3 earned runs out of the 7 they scored. Best team in Diboll history though…but I was sure hoping they could bring home the hardware to Deep East/SETX.

  23. This is the best coach in East Texas. With this hire you have to make Huntington 1 of the favorites in District next year. He should be a AD somewhere or a D1 college coach.

    Coaches on the Move

Kevin Foster consistently makes deep playoff runs with kids that buy into a system. He had the Angele kid a few years ago who was as good a pure shooter as I’ve ever seen. Other than that not many Stud players in Dallardsville. Kevin is the most underrated coach in our area.

    Coaches on the Move

I don't like him because he keeps making new screen names and coming on here and talking about how great he is, and how bad other coaches are. As for coaching, I don't have any issue with him as a coach, but he's been very fortunate at Lumberton with them dropping classifications and having a D1 player drop in his lap. That in itself is just part of coaching, and I don't fault him for it. I just take exception to the folks (including "not him") that have declared him an elite coach, one of the best in the area, etc. etc., when he's won a couple of playoff games against .500 and below teams and had one really good regular season, despite dropping from an exceptional 5A district to 4A, and despite having the services of the best L-town player in the program's history for 4 years. The fact that he won 1 district game in 5A, and then missed the playoffs the first year McClure is gone, has me curious to see what happens the next couple of years over there.
